      Aloha everyone,

WOO, it seems our weather here is more alligned with yours just the other side of the water from us than with Shiney in the north West of the County. We too are still in a wet and wonderful situation. I am not looking forward to taking Amber out which I must do now.

I hope everyone suffering soon gets better and the birds stop squabbling for you Loli and Shiney you get Barry's paperwork sorted out for him and it is successful. Good luck on that.

      Have a good day everyone.

      Aloha!:wub2:

Amber is not so near to the ground but she still manages to splash her belly with mud. We lay her large towel down ready for when she comes back through the door so she goes and lays on it straight away. Poor WOO you have double the trouble of bellys to rub clean although they are small enough to drop into the bath - do they mind that? Amber doesn't like the bath. My old Chloe used to jump in and have her belly and legs washed down and she was bigger, well certainly heavier than Amber. Have a good evening all I am away to watch the Hobbit on tele before the time runs out on it.

          Aloha everyone,

It has been raining steadily during the night and is still raining. The garden is looking happier now :). It'll give me a chance to rest my arms and back from the pressure hosing - but I'll be back out there when it stops.

The robins are pulling apart the lining of some of our baskets to make their nests. It's like a very fine straw and three of the pairs seem to have discovered them! That wouldn't be too bad but a blackbird has also discovered them :rolleyespink:

On an overhead cable outside my office window there are 13, what appeared to be, baby sparrows flapping their wings and calling for mummy! :)

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Aloha everyone,

Yes it is still raining, Amber and I got wet and muddy again this morning. Still I suppose it is doing the garden good. I don't mind now the grass has been cut. Oh I really want a nice day to be able to go and look round some garden centres and get some plants.

Have a good day all and take care of those backs.

            Aloha!:wub2:

Just dropping in to see everyone is okay....which seems to be the case:snork: I played Taxi for my sister bringing her from Wem in Shropshire to Crewe in Cheshire so that she can stay the weekend with friends....then take her back on Monday. Then it was shopping to feed me and the moggies, buy some paint and then start painting the Kitchen........which doesn't look too bad!

                  Good morning everyone:smile:

Hope you all are ok and that you are raring to go now that the rain has finally stopped

We have had quiet heavy rain these last couple of days which has refilled my water butt and watered the garden, although now everywhere is sodden but can't complain i suppose :snork:

It was foggy when i got up and when Mr Kandy went off to work but now the sun is shining so hopefully if he is only there this morning we might get something done outside this afternoon:yes:We had a nice seven mile walk last Saturday morning/afternoon and got over to the allotment later on to see the muck has finally been delivered,so while i tried to sort out emptying some of my compost bags Mr Kandy got loads of rotavating done, but now at the moment it is too wet to get on the land so have boxed up my shallots and oinion sets and will soak the broad bean seeds plus the parsnips as we are a bit behind this year due to the snow:snork:

Thankfully the cat sitting stops tomorrow as the owners are back from France,so just need to take the bedding back to their house that i had to wash due to the cats throwing up chewed up frogs all over it and their carpet:eeew:

Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the fresh air and:SUNsmile:

                    Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was the first day of proper rain for a long time and the garden is grateful. It's lovely and sunny now so I'll get back to my pressure hosing.

I've spent a couple of hours this morning updating loads of things on the computer and clearing out a load of rubbish.

ARMANDII, enjoy your painting :blue thumb: (I hate decorating!).

I'm sure that all of you are going to make the most of the promised good weather this weekend :dbgrtmb:

                    Have a great day

                      Aloha everyone,

Well what a beautiful start to the day. Wall to wall sunshine for my walk with Amber but alas now it has clouded over and looks like it could turn to rain. Boo hoo. Kandy that is sod's law that when you finally get your muck delivered it is too sodden on the lottie to spread it. Maybe it will dry out a bit today. Shiney you finished your pressure hosing that rain should have washed a lot clean we had quite a bit of rain.

WOO hope you are ok this morning dear and Jaz and Armandii good to see you back. Have a good day everyone,

                      Aloha!:wub2:
