Moyra, I've still got a couple of weeks of pressure hosing to go! I'm off out there in a short while to carry on with it.

          Aloha everyone,

I di a lot in the garden yesterday. Started washing down the walls of the summerhouse with anti-fungicide, as they are getting covered in algae and mould, and shall have to wash it off today (after Mrs Shiney has moved all the pot plants out of the way). The rest will get done in a week or two's time as I want to finish the patio first.

So, it's pressure hosing the patio today :phew:

I shall, also, have to trek round the garden removing all the deer pooh that was 'kindly' deposited on Friday night! Firstly, I need to find how they got in  (hedges all down the sides and a deer fence at the back). They've had a go at the rhubarb

I'll have to try and trace hoof tracks if there are any. It's possible they have jumped over the deer fence (two metres high) so I shall stick some canes protruding above it just in case they came that way.

I also want to rip out a wire fence that we have uncovered whilst cutting back the laurel on the front. The fence, 50ft long, has been there for 60 years! Then I shall have to package it up somehow and tack it to the dump!

The sun is shining brightly

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

            Good morning everyone,

Lovely and sunny here this morning after all the rain we had from tea time onwards yesterday so no gardening today although i got loads done while Mr Kandy was at work yesterday.Strong winds about though although it is nice and mild so the heating is off:hapydancsmil:

Been for our usual sunday morning stroll and also been down and fed the kitties and putting the bed back together so only have this tea time to do and that job will be finished:biggrin:

Moyra, Mr Kandy reckons we need to back stack the manure to finish off the rotting process but i want to chuck it on the ground and dig it in so we shall see how it goes.Hope you,Steve and Amber are all ok :grphg:

Had our very first pair of Siskins in the garden yesterday which was nice and i managed to get a couple of piccy's before they flew off:snork:

            Have a good day everyone:smile:

              Aloha everyone,

Who's going to win Kandy you or Mr. K? I would go along with you myself. Steve busy working today. Work has been a bit hit and miss for him lately. Not sure what time he is working to so not really sure what time to put the meat in the oven. I was hoping to pop out to have a look round some Garden Centres but I am so tired I do not think I can find the energy to do so. Shame really. Shiney, that's a bind the deer still getting in mind you their poo could be good for manure I would think. Really not all that long now until your open day. I do hope I am going to feel ok to come. I need to pick up a bit from now as I am flat at the moment no energy for anything. Take care everyone and have a good day all. Good bless.

              Aloha!:wub2:

                Hi everyone,

Been up since 5.45am, went to sell at a boot sale, weather was sunny, but what a wind, nearly had to staple everything down.

Had a good day, will have to start cooking again to make new stock for next week.

Going to have a sit down, eat my fish and chips, and rest for a while before I unload the car.

Dentists tomorrow, and my 3 hours working at my new job. Life's certainly getting busy, More seeds to sow, plants to transfer on into bigger pots, if only I could get some of these plants out in the garden, not much space in the conservatory now.

Anyway, off to have a lie down. Enjoy the rest of your days everyone.:blue thumb:

wow it is beautiful outside, had a brilliant day. We went to seee my aunts new house then went to Horsey windmill and I climbed the steps to the little balcony at the top! I hate heights but the steps were inside and staggered. We had a lovely walk along the river side then came home and have been working in the garden.

                      Aloha everyone,

What a beautiful day it is today. I really ought to get out to a garden centre with a good purseful. Steve is supposed to be treating me for birthday and Christmas but he is busy working at the moment so I shall have to go and get whatever I on my own. Hmm. Right now I do not have the energy. I feel so tired again. Need a tonic or something I think.

Hope you find where the deer are getting in shiney. How can you deny them your beautiful garden with lots of lovely things for them to eat. Lol., Sorry no that is not funny.

                      Have a good day all.

                      Aloha!:wub2:

                        Aloha everyone,

I didn't find where they are getting in. Although I could spot a lot of their hoof tracks there appeared to be none near the edges of the garden. I think they may be getting over the top! The certainly left enough pooh as it took Mrs Shiney about an hour to clear it up :hate-shocked:

It's another nice day but I won't get anything doen in the garden this morning as I'm chairing two meeting. Off to the first one now.

                        Have a great day

                          Morning everyone,

Its cool here but the sun's out, and its stopped snowing.....thank god!!

I have some errands to do for Brad, go and water my plants, and wash the truck, was supposed to go to Toronto today but thats now tomorrow instead, and then we'll cut across and go and get Kait, and move her things home, would be sooooo much easier if we could have moved everything to her new house, but oh well.

Off to put the bedding into the dryer, so have a great day all.

                          Evening All,

Just sat down after dinner, had a busy morning, been to dentist, had filling without any injection ! Bit worried though, I have had an ulcer on my tongue for 4 months, had antibiotics and mouthwash, has made no change, dentist has now sent letter to cancer clinic to have tongue checked.

Been to see my lady, done my 3 hours, left her showered and hair styled for her visitor this afternoon.

Managed to tidy up plants that desperately need to go out, as they are getting pot bound.

The weather has been really lovely, hope it lasts.

Can't wait to get to bed, fresh sheets and they smell lovely when they are freshly washed.

Enjoy the rest of the evening.

                          Bye:cat-kittyandsmiley:

                              Aloha everyone,

Jazmine, we're thinking of you :)

My second meeting yesterday didn't finish until three so didn't have lunch until almost four! I managed to do another two hours of pressure hosing before I had to go off to a bridge match so didn't have supper until midnight.

I may get another hour of hosing in before having to go off to set up a charity bridge drive I'm running this afternoon. I hope to raise over £600 for our charity. There will be about eighty people there and we take a break for tea (sandwiches, cake, tea and coffee) so I need to make sure that everything is ready.

We need to get at least twenty tables set out with four chairs at each table, see that there are enough platters for sandwiches and cakes (the charity will be bring the food), plates, cups and saucers, sugar, milk, tea, coffee etc, table clothes, serviettes, check that the tea urns are working properly and there are enough tea nd coffee pots. Display the prizes for the bridge drive and also for the raffle, sell raffle tickets, get people organised as they arrive, make sure they park properly in the car park otherwise they won't all fit in - and loads of other things.

Then I've got friends coming for dinner tonight!

Keep well and have a great day

                              Aloha!
