      Doors open? When it's 10 degrees here we have the heating on! :)

      We can't leave our doors open, anyway. If we did, Sarafi would be indoors like a shot and disappear in the wilderness :heehee:. Fluffy might also come in but Monty wouldn't. The pheasants may also decide to have a look indoors - they leave big messages everywhere and we don't want that!! :hate-shocked:

      It's my sister's golden wedding anniversary do tonight and we've invited a couple of friends to come for lunch as they have a long drive down. If they were just driving down for the golden wedding and then home afterwards they would find it too tiring.

      I want to get a couple of the lawns mowed before I have to start on the cooking but, as it's the weekend I won't start the mowing until after 9 a.m. One of the neighbours has a lie-in at the weekends.

        Supposed to go up to about 22c today but we are also to get the odd short shower which may save me watering the sweet peas I put in yesterday.

        Jasmine I am on tablets for diabetes and I wish I had been given the advice that shiney has just given you. Mind you I think my cholesterol was pretty high at the time too so now I am stuck on all these tablets each day.

        WOO and Loli, lovely to see you both, take care and mind those backs and Shiney go steady with yours too.

            The sun has come out to play here as well. :dancy:

            Lots to do in the garden but the small town (the locals call it 'the village') a couple of miles away has got their open gardens today. Do we slog our guts out in the garden or walk round other peoples' gardens in the beautiful sunshine? Tough call! :scratch: :heehee:

                Morning all, a beautiful day here, we are off to a family BBQ later and the weather makes so much difference.
                Thanks Shiney, I do eat sugary stuff, chocolate is my downfall. I am waiting for the cholestrol results, last time they were fine. Still I'm glad I opted to have this free check, can you others get it? Tuesday is the next part!
                We are waiting to hear the results of OH scan and the date for his second surgery, I can't see it being in the next couple of weeks but last time he waited just 4 days! I am soooo hoping to make it. Are we all wearing a hat? Take your cameras too, we can have a shiney and ladies photo.:snork:

                      It was an enjoyable afternoon yesterday as we strolled around other people's gardens. :blue thumb:

                      Today it will be a gardening day and I shall continue going round trimming off lots of dead bits of shrubs that have been killed by the hard winter. It's a fiddly job and I've already spent a few hours at it!

                      I hope you all have a lovely warm day and can take full advantage of it. :biggrin:
