        Aloha everyone,

Good morning everyone, Waiting for the external decorators to come and repair/repaint the wooden cladding to the walls of our flat. It is done under a maintenance agreement with the residents association. Shamefully this is the first time this work has been carried out in nearly twenty years. No wonder a lot of the wood needs replacing. I have had to move the gazebo from my patio doors out onto the lawn. trouble is it is almost impeding the birds feeding station. Never mind I expect they will manage for the time being. Have a great day everyone. God bless.

        Aloha!:wub2:

              Good morning everyone....

Good to see you Woo:dbgrtmb:...your garden is looking lovely...i'll say this much for the weather it's keeping everything looking green and lush:blue thumb:

It doesn't seem bad out there this morning although it's dull it's very still:blue thumb:On my wander around the garden i've come across no end of broken pigeon eggs...i'm hoping it's from the parents dumping them after their squeakers have hatched but i think it's more a case of Mr Magpie and Co being on a nest raiding mission:frown:

Ooops times marching on....best get a move on ...Hi Ho:whistle:

              Have a great day everyone,take care:SUNsmile:

                Aloha everyone,

Woo, your garden is looking good :dbgrtmb:

Dull and dry at the moment. Same for the weather! :snork:

I went off at midnight to the airport to pick up my sister and hubby who had a short break in Sorrento (their Golden Wedding). They said it was warm but rained quite a bit, but they still got plenty of sightseeing in. :blue thumb:

Today we have a 70th birthday party and another 80th next week. Life's just one long string of rave-ups! :heehee:

                Have a great day

                Aloha!

Good evening, my GC friends (long time no 'see' in here)

Jazmine, I'm hoping all went well with hubby?

Kandy - not quite sure what went wrong with your emails, but my account was hacked a few weeks ago. I needed to change the password: maybe that would help you?

Loli - hope your cold/chills are fully recovered now?

WOO - your garden is looking splendid!

Shiney - naughty boys get put on the naughty step (and you don't have time for that ;) )

Nothing really to report from Mumsland. I have dug a new border and I'm waiting for that to take off. It was planted with the longer term in mind rather than a quick fix bed. Have to confess though, the garden has taken a back seat due to other circumstances, but as long as I keep on top of the weeds, I feel I'm doing my bit

Getting very excited about next weekend and meeting people I've been speaking with on here :dancy: I do like to get away from time to time and I think the timing is just perfect, for me.

Have been doing battle with Student Finance for the past few days, trying to get both boys applications done: nightmare! But, one good result came from a school photo blip. The school/photographers mucked up the order (in other words, we didn't get one!). However, one brief phone call and not only did the single photo arrive within a couple of days, but they included a class photo (free! ). Very good of them, I think. It was particularly important seeing as it was the last ever 'school' photo. To be honest, it wasn't even a great photo, but, its a memory we would never be able to recapture so worth having anyway.

Love, luck and miles of smiles to you all xMx

I reckon Shiney has got a reserved place on that naughty step:biggrin:

It's my last day at work for a week or so:yahoo:....and i'm ready for a break...it can be mentally and emotionally draining more so than physically....but for all my complaints i still enjoy it:dbgrtmb:

It's lovely out in the garden this morning, cloudy but mild and so quiet....appart from the Stoggies cooeing....:wub2:

                          Aloha everyone,

We have a sunny morning here, for which I'm very grateful, but it means even more use of the sprinkler. I hope to get a load more weeding done.

Naughty steps aren't allowed in Shineyland!! :hapydancsmil: Everyone that comes through Shineyland Border Control is converted to a goody goody, if they aren't already a member of that group. So, there are no steps in Shineyland. :dbgrtmb:

I was out in the garden at 5 a.m. and there was a lovely pink glow all around. The pheasants didn't run away, or even shout at me, when I went to the feeder to fill it up (sometimes Mr Pheasant scolds me if I've let the feeder get empty). They just walked out of the way and waited for me to finish. :)

Keep well and have a great day

                          Aloha!

                            Aloha everyone,

Yes, Shiney the birds are the same here. With my gazebo moved across the lawn to give room for the external decorators the starlings are making use of the corner of it to do flying leaps to the half coconuts. Steve said while the gazebo is there refrain from putting the coconuts up but I cant do that they may not forgive me. I shall just have to get the steps and wash the muck off the gazebo where they have been once it is back in position. Or the rain will wash it off in time.

Loli enjoy your break, my word Shiney's open day has come round quick. Hope my back is going to be better by then as I do not fancy driving all that way with a bad back.

Well have a lovely day everyone, Mum, good to see you. WOO hope you are well and everyone else we haven't seen lately. God bless.

                            Aloha!:wub2:
