    Morning all,

Oh Kandy, so glad Willow came back, I had that happen to me, unfortunately, my little moggie never came back.

Am raring to go, got up a bit earlier, and got my papers shredded, and junk mail ready to send back. Hope we have a bit of rain, my garden is looking a bit dry, probably have to get the hose out and water in my new plants.

Hope you all have a good day, Bye xx:cat-kittyandsmiley:

    Aloha everyone,

Welcome back, Kandy :blue thumb:. Sorry to hear Willow is poorly .

Things are building up towards the weekend and not enough time to do them :). This afternoon I have the bridge club and tomorrow afternoon we're at an 80th celebration.

We've planted out lots of things to fill the gaps where plants have died :dbgrtmb: - which took up a lot of time.

People keep turning up! Some to deliver books or plants, others to try and buy plants beforehand and others to just chat - as if we have all the time in the world . We even had some people turn up last month thinking it was the open day! :roflol:

I've now filled two wheelie bins with buttercups, strawberry weed, bindweed and other nasties and have almost finished the bulk of the weeding.

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

    Aloha everyone,

Kandy so sorry to hear that Willow is getting worse. It breaks your heart to see them unwell. Poppy seems to be enjoying herself but she will miss Willow when she goes of course.

Shiney, see everyone is eager to see the garden. Very much looking forward to it.

Pleased to say my back is feeling a bit better this morning and Steve has taken himself off to the osteopath to try and sort his back out again. Glad to say my decorators have come back to do a bit more out the back of the flat so hopefully I should be able to get everything back into place again today. Without the gazebo on the lawn I might be able to get the mower round. I also want to chance putting some washing out this morning too if the decorators get a move on. Have a good day everyone. God bless.

    Aloha!

            Morning all,

A bit chilly in Berkshire today. Quite windy, I got the OH to plant the front garden with bedding plants, hope they don't get damaged.

Really cracked on yesterday afternoon, and sowed 5 large trays of veggie seeds.

Got all my ironing done by 6.45am , just sitting eating my Frosties, before I go out and get my lady up for the day.

Hope that you all have a very good day.

            Bye xx:cat-kittyandsmiley:

              Aloha everyone,

Loli, I'll have to warn the border guards that you're coming! :hate-shocked:

Things are getting more frantic here as the days go by! There's a lot of tidying up that needs doing as we've had stuff spread all over the place whilst we got it ready. We've been doing a lot of re-potting on the patio so that will need cleaning and I still haven't got my pressure washer back!

We're off to some posh place in the countryside today to celebrate a friend's 80th birthday :ccheers:. I've chosen the Sweet potato, ginger and coriander soup, Oriental confit of duck leg with wok fried noodles and a chilli, sesame and teriyaki reduction and a selections of cheeses and biscuits. Mrs Shiney is having Plum tomato, bococini and asparagus salad with sweet basil oil, Mushroom Ravioli with green pesto, roasted peppers, sunblushed tomato and parmesan followed by Vanilla and strawberry creme brulee with shortbread.

Then, when I get home I'll have to rush to get my things ready for the AGM of our bridge club. I'm the chairman and still haven't got my report finished!

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

                Aloha everyone,

Wow it is all systems go all round at the moment. Have a brilliant day Shiney, a lot to fit in with the weekend coming as well.

Good to see you WOO, no the roses are budding up though.

I am off to the hospital in a minute as I have a Renal Clinic appointment for my CKD3 which is a result of my diabetes. Shall be glad to get this behind me. Cannot see the point of going really not a lot they can do at the moment unless it worsens.

Have a good day all, See you soon Loli.

                Aloha!:wub2:

Hi everyone, back from the hospital. I think after all the bad stuff that has been affecting some of us all, time to share some good stuff. The consultant said that my CKD3 has not deteriorated and my kidneys are stable so there is little that they can do for me unless things change. So they are handing me back to my doctor to monitor my blood 2 or 3 times a year to make sure they do not deteriorate so he said no dialysis for you. I said I was thrilled with the news and glad that hopefully, not being nasty, I would not see him again. It is nice to share some good news once in a while.

                    Morning everyone,

Its sunny and warm here, its been really nice the past few days....finally!!!

It was so nice to have a long weekend, with Monday being our holiday, so now i'm playing "catch up", but my gardens look good, got all my veggies planted, just need to do all the flowers and baskets.

I'm off to Toronto shortly, have 4 stops to make, and maybe stop at a garden centre too (lol).

Anyhow....off and running, so have a great day all!!

                    Good afternoon everyone,

Just popped by to let you all know we had to let Willow go this afternoon. His quality of life rapidly went down hill from Sunday onwards and we found he lost his appetite, and was struggling to breath with breths of 52 per minute and had lost another 4 0z in weight so after a tearful chat with the vet we decided that it was better not to let him suffer any more so the deed was done {we had said our goodbyes at this point}and we go back to collect his ashes in 2 weeks time so we can keep a part of him with us.

We are both quiet upset at the moment but still have his sister Poppy for the time being plus we have Davina the blue cat that adopted us so won't be too lonely:biggrin:

I have lots of photos and memories of Willow to treasure but know that he will still be with us until the end of our days.He had nearly ten good years with us when we rescued him and his sister as tiny feral kittens so we all got love from each other:smile:

Hope you all have a great weekend and will be back on line some time in the future:smile:

Kandy, I know I have not visited here for a long time, but I always read the posts.

I am so, so sorry for Willow having to go away and my heart is with you and Mr Kandy. :cat-kittyandsmiley:xx

I know there are many versions of this, but I hope it is of some comfort ...

I have had to edit this as the first video I put on was not viewable there. xx
