I came back Kandy because I was fed up with the telly, same old. I am so sorry that you have had to lose Willow to the rainbow bridge. She will be forever with you, they always are. I am glad you did not let her suffer beyond that which she already has. If only we as humans could take a peaceful way out too. I am sure if she could she would thank you for sparing her further pain. I am glad you have Poppy and another little one too to keep you from being lonely missing her as you no doubt will. God bless.

            Aloha everyone,

We have just had a hailstorm here had to rush out and put a cloche over my fuchsias. Just in time. Really cold and like winter again out there. I hope it is going to be a lovely day on Saturday will put up with it being rough before. Not sure that I shall bring Amber with me as it very much depends on whether Steve is going to be home to look after her or not. At the moment it looks as though he might be with his bad back.

I hope everyone has a lovely day, take care all and look after yourselves, God bless.

            Aloha! :wub2:

                Morning everyone,

Its a little cooler here, and overcast today, we do need some more rain, so i dont mind.

I'm home today and need to get some weeding done, and have some more herbs to plant that i bought on my travels yesterday, as well as some flowers too.

I have a manicure today, and need to go do some grocery shopping, and pop into the bank.

Kait and Natalie are both off today, so maybe I'll get them out in the garden to help me (haha), actually they dont mind, Nat has a Dr's appointment tomorrow and will find out the sex of the baby, I'm so excited because i want to know what to start buying!!

Off to put some laundry in the dryer, and start another load.....enjoy your day everyone.

I won't be back on here for a few days, sorry folks, have other plans. Don't miss me too much ;):heehee:

I've cleared a bed of weeds ready for the Bank Holiday Weekend - they were getting a tad large and I really didn't want to pull up on the drive after a weekend away to see them still there :nonofinger:

Had a busy two days: as well as my own schedule of "to-do's", I have had a friend going through a bit of a drama and the warring fractions think I have either a) nothing better to do or b) the wisdom of Solomon! The wisest thing I could do, of course, is to not get involved at all, but that strategy didn't quite work either

Mr Mum has only now informed me that certain threats have been made against him and us. Now, that is quite par for the course - so much so that he doesn't usually mention it; so, the fact he has mentioned it means I shall be extra vigilant for the next few weeks. By which time, we shall know if they are hollow or well founded. But, as Mr Mum has pointed out (on numerous occasions) it would be a brave/foolish man who risked my wrath :paladin: - which, I think is meant as a compliment of some sort  :th scifD36: but one can never be too sure :dunno: Ah well, if he derives comfort from that thought, who am I to disillusion him :pathd:

Now, I must go and polish my shoes :snork:

Love, luck and miles of smiles to one and all xMx

                    Aloha everyone,

I've been working hard in the garden but had to give up before my back did!

Although the forecast for the weekend is not bad - dry (slight possibility of a shower), bright and some sunny periods - I don't think we shall have the heatwave we had last year when it reached 86F on the Sunday :hate-shocked:

Loli, tomorrow is forecast to be cold and heavy rain  so wrap up well. You're only a few minutes from the RHS garden at Hyde Hall if you feel like chancing it in the rain and cold.

                    http://www.rhs.org.uk/Gardens/Hyde-Hall/Plan-your-visit

Mrs Shiney and myself will have no choice but to work outside in the rain tomorrow as everything will need setting up - tables, chairs, stalls etc as the tables don't get delivered until the morning. We have got the marquee up (just a roof and no sides) and I'll do my best to reserve a table for GC. :blue thumb:

                    Keep well

                    Aloha!

                      Aloha everyone,

Good morning, somebody was saying that tomorrow should be better weatherwise with temps going up to 19c. Well lets hope they are right. Looking forward to tomorrow so hope you have the shields up Shiney. Shall probably have to dig out winter clothes don't know about summer stuff. Awful so near the end of May. Still got my geraniums and other stuff tucked away under cover. If Loli makes Hyde Hall she should enjoy that. I wonder is she has set the caravan up on Danbury Common. Nice spot for camping/caravanning. Well have a busy day Shiney, hope all goes well but can always muck in tomorrow if anything else needs doing when we get there.

Hope everyone is ok. Waves, to Kandy, WOO, Lili et al.

                      Aloha!:wub2:

                          Morning everyone,

Its a cold morning here, but there's a breeze, so no frost for us, but when i dropped Brad off at the shop awhile ago, i passed a car that came off the mountain and it had snow on it!! Brad checked all my veggies when he was out with Diesel and they are all fine.....thankfully!!

I'm home today...need to drop Natalie off at her Dr's app, since Dan is pouring concrete today for their house, her truck goes in for a service call, otherwise she'd drive herself. Kait has today off again, not sure on her plans.

I also need to pop into our Firehall here and pickup our burn permit for this year, plan on cutting this grass too, needs it again and i just cut it on Monday!!

Anyhow.....happy gardening everyone, and enjoy your day!

I have got problems with Amber, going to have to take her to the vets this afternoon. She had blood coming from her tail end I think she has an infection in her bladder. Keeps passing water a lot. I will let you know how I get on.

Hi all, just a very quick post, surgery done but had to rush up the hospital today as he was distressed in a lot of pain, not nice to see at all. I spoke to the nurse who said someone would be back in ten mins, one and a half hours later someone came and gave him more morphine. I was going to stay there till they came!! We are going to ring tonight to see if he has improved.

That doesn't sound too good Jazmine, you do not expect to have to wait all that time for pain relief. That's disgusting. I hope he will soon be feeling much better. God bless.

We had to wait ages to get into see the vet. Amber was getting so anxious, not a happy little dog at all. when we finally go into the surgery she promptly did a little pee on the floor which contain a small blood clot. He syphoned it up and is going to analyse it. He gave her a good examination and said how long ago was she spayed, they don't read their notes do they. self same vets carried out the spaying when she was just 6 months. Anyway he has put her on a weeks course of A/Bs and said to take her back if there is no improvement after 5 days. Just have to hope now that they will clear it up. He said it has been known for spayed bitches to bleed but normally it would have shown up a lot earlier than this as she is now two years old. I will let you know how she gets on. Making me wonder whether I should leave her tomorrow. Lets just say I hope to see you all tomorrow. God bless.
