    Aloha everyone,

Late on parade today, forgot I had not signed in. Hope everyone is ok. I am very tired. I think a bad back always takes it out of you and makes you tired.

So Loli, you are hooked now on certain Indian curries. I am afraid I cannot get on with Indian food it doesn't like my tummy or is it the other way round my tummy cannot stomach it. Have a good day everyone.

    Aloha!:wub2:

yesterday I cooked spaghetti seasoned them with garlic olive oil and chilli (crushed)well a piece of chilly got stuck somewhere on the side of the mouth and was burning like hell and there was no way I could locate it. Anyway eventually I rinsed my mouth like ten times and eventually all was back to normal!

It is a lovely picture of the polar bears. If it is not milk it is certainly yoghurt as you do with a lot of Indian hot food.

I agree with Loli, Java&Me ... it's milk you should drink not water under any circumstances as it intensifies the heat! I well know that from Mexican food.

              Aloha everyone,

My back is gradually getting better and I can sit down without too much pain! :)

I wanted to take my boot full of books to the charity shop but had a bit of a problem. One of my rear tyres was very low - and my tyre pump is under the floor of the boot, which had 20 boxes of books in it!!! My neighbour came round with an electronic pump, I got the books to the charity and then went to the tyre place (a local business just down the road). I've had to have one tyre repaired (£28) and a new one is on order (£190 :cry3: ).

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

                Aloha everyone,

Only just in time to say Good morning as I am very late today. Shiney do take it easy with that back of yours. I have just bought Steve a memory foam mattress to see if that helps his back. He has just gone to a chiropractor for another appointment I hope it does him some good.

                Have a good day everyone.

                Aloha!:wub2:

Good afternoon everyone and hope you are ok:smile:

Sorry to be absent but have been trying to keep busy to take my mind off of Willow going over the rainbow bridge, but this continual rain isn't doing anything to lift my spirits although last weekend was brilliant weather wise so after collecting our caravan from the place where we took it for a service and had put it back into storage and got loads of stuff packed back inside we headed home for a bite to eat and then trecked up to Fosse Park for some retail therapy, then on to Bradgate Park which is in Charnwood Forest for a nice walkabout for about four hours and didn't get home until well after 9pm:biggrin: The rest of the weekend and BH monday we spent at the allotment and since then it has chucked it down with more of the wet stuff:eeew:

Victoria, many thanks for the Rainbow Bridge link.I have only just got round to looking at it and the strange thing is as i was playing it my other two fur babies apperaed from nowhere and wanted to give me some fuss. How spooky is that:snork: Poppy spent all evening last Wednesday looking for her brother and was very jittery but seems to have settled down now although i can't get any sleep at night because she insists on sitting on my pillow and chews my hair:snork:

Anway,i had better get on with what i am doing:smile:

Good to see you Kandy.....:dbgrtmb:....the Rainbow bridge link is lovely isn't it:cry3: i'm sure i'm not on my own , we've been thinking of you:grphg:

I used to have a cat 'Fattima' that would only go to sleep if she was sucking my ear lobe:rolleyespink: that was over 20 years ago....but we never forget them do we...:wub2:
Poppy must miss him but i'm sure she's getting more than her share of love:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Kandy, I am sure it takes a long time to adjust to loss. I discovered yesterday that my cousin who was living on borrowed time with leukaemia passed away and his wife didn't have my number to let me know and she doesn't use the pc so never saw my e-mail asking how he was. So I missed his funeral by one day. Had I phoned her the day before I could have gone to his funeral but I am sure something told me he had passed and when I didn't get a reply to my e-mail I just knew I had to phone to put my mind at rest. I cannot get him out of my mind now. Take care Hugs to you.

                        Good morning everyone,

Loli,Yes the fur babies do mean a lot to those of us that let us in to their lives and i think they bring us more happiness than the two legged human variety ever could:biggrin:I can't talk about Willow because as soon as i do i start getting upset and even thinking of that final trip to the vets and saying our goodbyes brings on the water works so for the time being i limit my thinking and spoken thoughts until such time as i can without getting too emotional.Mr Kandy wants to get another couple of cats when these two are gone but i don't think as i get older i can cope with the eventual losing of them as it isn't getting any easier :cry3:

Moyra,so sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin but at least he is no longer suffering.Sad also that you missed the funeral but at least you are now in his wifes thoughts and heart. We can spend the rest of our lives thinking if only we had done this or that but at the end of the day you didn't know that he was passing over to a better life.Time as they say is a great healer and yours and my pain will lesson as time goes on and we will both remember our loved ones in special ways:wub2: :grphg:

PS,Sorry to hear about Steve's back problems. We changed our bed for a new one a couple of years ago and got a good firm mattress which has really helped with my Sciatica and i don't suffer hardly at all with it now:smile:

Try and have a good day:smile:
