Another lovely sunny morning....
Today i need to catch up with jobs i should have done yesterday but when i got home from work i thought i would sit and relax in the garden.....the thing is when i sit and 'relax' that's when i look round see more jobs i'd like to do .....

Loli, I know look around and there are always jobs that need doing. I must go and do some gentle exercise as my back and knees are still very bad this morning. Diabetes Retinal eye appointment tomorrow morning so may be late on here then depending how soon my eyes adjust back after the drops. Will have to go by taxi as I am not sure where the clinic is.

Morning everyone,

Its a cool morning here, no frost but its still cool...poor plants!!

Had a busy busy week last week, today is my only day that I'm home, but Brad and i did all the yard work yesterday, so today i need to go to the grocery store, wash the truck ans vacuum inside. Should do a little weeding too, I've manged to stay on top of that so far, so thats a huge help!

Good morning everyone,

I have been up and about since 4.40am this morning as the dawn chorus was quiet loud and Davina had decided to come upstairs for some fuss.It has been productive though as i have fed the cats,been outside cleaning my kitchen windows and back door glass as they were in a bit of a state,got the last of my ironing caught up with,pulled up some weeds and took a couple of photos of a nice poppy that is coming in to bloom.

My sister and her hubby called in Sunday evening after they had brought back their daughter who had been staying with them down in Devon and we had a good four hours of chatter and they both loved our cottage style garden

Moyra,hope your eye scan goes off ok.I had mine done a couple of months ago and everything is fine.The bit i don't like is those eye drops as they don't half sting

Shiney looks like your restful week is going to be good weatherwise,but sorry to read you are having back problems again.Perhaps some gentle walking would help as i find that is good when the back is playing up although since we got our new bed it has been a lot better.Just have painful bones to contend with now.You will probably have to water your garden plants more with this hot weather

Loli, we have baby starlings and sparrows being fed at the moment as they have all fledged and i saw a mummy blackbird feeding her new babies one day last week and the little ones blended in so well with the soil they were sitting on We are in to Springwatch at the moment with the lovely Martin Hughes-Games but was sad to see the Buzzard chick has died for no apparent reason

Kandy it is lovely to see the babies fledging and don't they nag their parents! We have loads of starlings at the moment.

Kandy...i watch very little TV...When i do turn it on there is normally something horrible or sad on...like RSPCA adverts about ill treated animals or horrific news stories but Springwatch is a different matter....i love it it is a shame when things go wrong but that's nature i suppose...but gripping stuff

Just signing in. Little chimney has a bad dose of chicken pox :( she is finding it hard going. we are trying to distract her with play.

Have we all been enjoying this glorious weather?we're getting spoilt at the moment aren't we....what a treat
Moyra i hope all went well at the clinic
CRG ...hope little Chimney is bearing up....i thought about her yesterday when i saw all the daisys in the lawn...that would keep her occupied...making Daisy chains

I got lots of planters planted up yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it
Back to work today which wouldn't be so bad but it's going to be very warm in there and the clients being so frail feel the cold so much that windows are rarely opened and the place has floor to ceiling windows so you can imagine how hot it gets in there....you could grow some cracking tomatoes in there
