Kandy, sorry to hear you're in the wars again. You'll just have to force yourself to sit in the sun with a drink and a good book. :dbgrtmb:

      Aloha everyone,

Not so warm this morning or bright. I think it is supposed to brighten up later though.
Not sure what is on the Agenda today but if it doesn't rain it will probably involve watering by can. Have a lovely day all and Kandy rest that foot!

      Aloha!:wub2:

Oh WOO, you naughty boy, you should have known better. I hope it eases up soon. We have a back massage machine being delivered today so that both of us can ease our backs a bit. Take care.

        Loli enjoy your mulching!

Get well or keep well everyone :)

            Have a great day

              Evening all :)

Ouch! Kandy. Sending speedy healing vibes your way :grphg:

Haven't posted much, due to "thinking/reflective" time, but, I have been very busy in the garden - so therapeutic, isn't it? But a huge "time thief"! :heehee:

I'm doing "multi-tasking-multi-projects" at the moment (garden wise) plus the lads are in the throes of A2 levels and the dreaded 'angst' of Uni places. Mr "M" is being pressed into extra shifts (to cover mainly sickness/stress related illness) which throws umpteen spanners into the works of having a "life" outside of work :rolleyespink: Besides, he's not getting any younger (who is?) and I do worry a bit that he may be over-stretching himself. He doesn't listen to me; so that is a non-starter 'conversation'. However, all "conversations" aside, the concern remains.

Ozzy resumes do(d)ggy classes tomorrow after one week off and I just know he's going to be a bit of a pickle - I've asked for earlier classes, simply because his breed/coat cannot manage under a midday sun - and that means, new friends!!!!! Trouble is, he adores meeting new (friendly) friends, but is a total wimp-out if they are on the slightly aggressive side (yes, I know, hides behinds his mother's apron strings type of guy :rolleyespink: - but, on a plus point, in some cultures that would be considered one very intelligent guy! :heehee: )

One of my lads has gone to the "Smoke" today, with his birthday money, to attend a ... thing! ... rap something or other ... which he is interested in. Although he is (home town, seaside town) streetwise, I am a little apprehensive (stoopid mother!) about him. I'm sure he'll be fine, but it's my job to worry :heehee: He has decided that, as Mr M is working a night shift, he won't "disturb" me with any texts ... like *that* won't worry me? ... and he'll see me tomorrow. I look forward to that!

              Miles of smiles
              xxMxx

              Aloha everyone,

"M", maybe he went up to the 'Smoke' to watch the Naked Bike Ride in central London :heehee:. As they ride without a stitch of clothing on I've always wondered how uncomfotable it must be! :hate-shocked:

It's already warming up quite well in this brilliant sunshine. :blue thumb: We've had a solid week of hot sun (cool nights) and not a hint of rain. I've got a lot of driving to do today so I had better get ready. I'll wake Mrs Shiney in about half an hour, have breakfast and then must pop in to some friends before we get going.

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

                Aloha everyone,

Shiney you do sound as though you are having a great time just lately carry on enjoying yourself you earned it.

Loli it is not that warm here in fact it is quite chilly from a north wind and there is no sunshine to warm it up either. May have to resort to putting the heating back on it is so cold. Yes our new back massager came yesterday and Steve has been using it and it has helped his back incredibly he was able to take Amber for a long run this morning. Brilliant!

M, I think Ozzy has the right idea, no point in getting caught up in somebody else's aggression. He understands that you are the leader of his pack and therefore you are the one to defend him. Lol.

WOO,Hope your back is a bit better today. Take no more risks with that back of yours. Nip over this side of the water and have a go with our new back massager, do you the world of good.

Kandy, I hope you are resting that foot, no sure the state of it that you have a lot of choice.

                Have a great day everyone

                Aloha! :wub2:

                    Good afternoon everyone,

Many thanks everyone for your good wishes. I still find it hard to believe that by stubbing my toe could have caused it to break but this is the third time this has happened on the same foot but a different toe this time. All i did was walk through the lounge door on the way to locking the conservatory door as we have had some suspicious characters in the village and the police helicopter was called out in the early hours of Friday morning as some toe rags were trying to break into peoples cars,so I had taken off my slippers ready to put on my shoes ready for going out when i must have caught the toe either on the door frame or the bottom of the door:oopss::ouch1:as i walked through the door opening into the lounge. The air was blue I can tell you and i was nearly in tears but never thought i had broken anything until the morning went on and as in the photo, this is the outcome.I've been hobbling round in sandals today, and Mr Kandy has told me off for trying to carry on,but i spent all afternoon/evening lying on the settee getting bored yesterday so thought i would try to carry on today:biggrin:

Hope everyone has had a good day and hopefully i will pop back tomorrow to make sure you are all ok:smile:

it may be the spine vertebrae/discs but also a muscle: you wouldn't believe the amount of aggravation that a strained muscle can give you that feels like your back is broken.

An initial rest of a couple of days followed by little activity where you don't hurt and extremely little activity where it hurts. The pain is a message in which your body tells you that something is wrong!

Also hot baths and massages with tiger balm or similar substances for muscles surelly will help. Good luck! And a speed recovery wish to Kandy as well, for her broken toes.:doggieshmooze:
