    Aloha everyone,

Oh Shiney glad she is going to have some treatment on her knee. Mine was terrible this morning while walking Amber not only the knee itself but the tendons behind the knee were objecting to being stretched. I hope Hannah's treatment does the trick, the problem is that once damaged it is very easy for it to go out again. I wish it better.

Morning WOO and Loli hope you two are ok this morning and everyone else too. Have a good day all. God bless.

    Aloha!:wub2:

Mrs Shiney isn't too good as I think the tendon is the problem. The chiropractor has strapped it up with the tape they use for footballers. It has made it easier for her to walk but is extremely painful if there is any lateral movement.

It's sunny here and we still need more rain. I wanted to put some canes in to support some of the plants but the ground is much too solid!

      Aloha everyone,

      Welcome Cjt2014.

Shiney, so sorry to hear that Hannah's knee is a lot worse than at first suspected. I do hope it will heal soon and that the bandage will give her some relief from it. Wish he well from us on here.

Loli, I have one eye on the tele on BBC2 A to Z of Gardening. Very Good programme.

Hope everyone else is ok, take care all,

      Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone:smile:

Shiney sorry to hear about Mrs Shiney' knee problem and please send our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery:wub2:

The bruising on my foot has all but vanished now although i still walk with a limp and i know it will be quiet some time before it is cmpletley healed.I get paranoid when we go to get the food shopping as i worry that someone will either tred on my toe or hit me with their shopping trolley:frown:

We have had some rain over the weekend, mainly yesterday but we got to the allotment Saturday afternoon and Mr Kandy did a lot of ground work while i got down on my hands and knees and weeded the oinions/shallots and the peas, then started on the runner beans. At the moment everything looks good over there apart from our squashes which don't like being battered by the strong winds that are about at the moment:eeew: We have had to go and buy some straw as we have strawberries ripening and i wnat to gte them off the ground before they rot.

As it is Wimbledon fortnight,i am going to spend a little time watching the best matches and then enjoy the sun and calmed down winds that we are going to get after today:snork:

        Have a good day everyone:smile:

          Aloha everyone,

I've cleared most of the paperwork :dancy: but more keeps arriving  and hope to get out and do some weeding.

I've now got a replacement pressure washer (long story) and it works well.

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

          Aloha everyone,

Kandy, I can well imagine you being a bit concerned about someone treading on your toe or ramming their trolley into it. I am glad it is on the mend though it will take quite some time before you can relax and not worry about it.

Glad you got your new pressure washer Shiney. How is Hannah's knee I hope it is improving.

Well it looks like rain out there so I had better go get the washing in and put it under the gazebo. Have a good day all.

          Aloha!:wub2:

            Aloha everyone,

Moyra, her knees improving but it looks as though it may be a long job. She's using K Tape to give support and it's helping a lot. It's a flexible self-adhesive tape that sportsmen use. I'm not letting her drive at the moment so am the chauffeur - but haven't got the cap! :)

Kandy, I know all about dodging trolleys etc. I've had a problem with one of my toes for decades (that's why I go to the chiropodist every six weeks) and the dodging has become automatic. You get to be careful around over enthusiastic dogs as well. If they try to jump up to greet you they can land on your foot when they put their front paws down again. It's quite a problem with big dogs.

I got a load of pressure washing done and will do some weeding today. It's already nice and sunny so I'll get an hour or two in before bridge. The wind has dropped completely. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day.

            Aloha!

Good morning everyone on this lovely sunny but chilly morning:snork:

Many thanks for your kind comments everyone:smile: Shiney, when i first went to see the nurse about this toe she told me to wear sandals which i did but after a few near misses with big footed people decided to go for trainers instead, although having a bunion on that foot makes the trainers a bit tight but have to put up with it and i don't to have to wear walking boots as they are wider, but they do look funny with a skirt:snork: I never realised you had a toe problem,so yes you are right to be careful especially as you say when dogs are about especially if they are of the large variety:biggrin:

Hope Mrs Shiney soon gets better with her knee problem Shiney and glad to see you are waiting on her as she relaxes and takes the weight off of it.:wub2:

Moyra, that is a good idea having a gazebo to dry the washing especailly with the amount of rain we have at times, but at least it saves you having to keep running outside and getting it in.

Woo,the wind has died down here a bit now so if it is the same where you are you should have good flights when you are out and about:blue thumb:

Hope Loli and everyone else who calls in here are all ok and getting lots done in the garden:smile:

I managed to get the lawns cut yesterday afternoon and as we don't have too much grass it didn't take long although i ran out of time so didn't get the edging done,so will have to do that sometime.

              Have a good day everyone:smile:
