    Good morning everyone,

Oh dear, tendons and ligaments do take some time to heal don't they,i'm sure you'll do a perfect job looking after Mrs S ...'James' ...Ooo i mean Shiney:biggrin: she's in good hands:blue thumb:

Kandy ...just the thought of your toe and trolleys makes me cringe:ouch1: take care:dbgrtmb:

Grand morning it is here too Woo:dancy:
Once the dew has dried on the lawns i really need to get them cut ,even though there wasn't any rain yesterday it still hadn't dried out from the heavy showers we had over the weekend...
I've wandering around the garden this morning listening to all the baby birds in their nests chirping away...they'll soon be on their travels by the sound of it:)

It's bath night for Archi and Theo tonight but have to wait for Mr L to get home...i can't manage them on my own .....it will no doubt be a right performance :rolleyespink:

Waves to all, enjoy the sunshine and take care

    Aloha everyone,

Sorry I am very late today. I really feel I cannot be bothered I am so down. Steve came home stayed the night and then promptly emptied the cupboards again of bacon, sausages and eggs etc and then went off fishing again until this lot of food runs out. So I guess I shall top up the cupboards again and see how long it lasts.

I hope everyone is ok and have a good day all. God bless.

    Aloha!:wub2:

Oh Dear Moyra, sorry to hear you are feeling down:grphg: If it is any consilation my mum had exactly the same problem with my two younger brothers after my dad passed away and as fast as she was buying in food to last them all for the week,my two brothers brought their mates home and emptied the fridge of practically everything she had just been out and bought and was nearly in tears many a time as they didn't realise that the small amount of board money they gave her never compensated for what they had eaten and it didn't occur to them to give mum any extra.:nonofinger:

Anyway, try not to get too upset and just think to yourself that something good will happen to you to give you something back for what you have lost.Take Care Kandy:wub2:

Kandy, no it is not that I begrudge him the food, I buy it for him but it was just the suddenness of coming home in the evening and then getting ready at 6.30 this morning to go again. Not sure why I was so down just fed up sometimes with life. I had a phone call from a friend wanted to know if I would like her to pick me up and take me to meet another couple of friends in a Wetherspoons but the way I felt I declined her offer as I didn't want to leave Amber on her own. Saying that, however, Steve hasn't given me his keep this week but no problem he will do.

    Have a lovely evening all.

Hi Moyra.....it might have done you good to go out for an hour although I know how hard it is to leave a pet alone especially if they haven't been well or are not in the best of health. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. :)

hi Moyra, I am sorry to hear of your reasons to feeling down.

I just wonder whether it is too much for you to cater about the shopping to those lenght since I understand you are not too agile and not in great health...

Make sure you love and dedication are reciprocated...

    Aloha everyone,

Moyra, I hope you have perked up today :) :blue thumb:

I got a lot done in the garden yesterday and my back is noticing it today. One thing really cheered me up when I was working out there. I was doing a lot of mowing and went to get a wheelbarrow to put the clippings in. So I walked down the garden to my barrow park and, as I was passing an apple tree, there was a young bird (wasn't sure whther it was a sparrow or finch) was playing on the trunk of the tree. As I'm always polite I said "Hello little birdie" and he stopped playing, looked at me - and then hopped onto my hand! :) He was only there for a couple of seconds before he flew onto the barrow I had intended using. So I took the one next to it and he just perched there watching me. :dbgrtmb:

I've got a list of eleven phone calls I have to make this morning so no gardening today. The friends from Hong Kong are coming to visit today before flying back to HK. So I'm going to make a soup and a chicken casserole with mustard mash.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Good morning Moyra, sincerely hope they you feel a little better to day my friend,I am not going to say that it many of us know how you feel my friend as we don't,but we all get what Woo calls tough days in some form or other, its easy to say have a positive mental attitude when you are feeling good but very difficult when you are a little down ,you will get your bounce back again, that's what I call Bouncability , Burn the fishing rods, don't buy anymore bacon and eggs and next time go out with your friends however difficult it is;):grphg:

            Aloha everyone,

Feeling much better this morning thank you all for your caring words. I am pleased for Steve that he can do a bit of fishing. He hasn't had much luck over the last few years, what with the way his father treated him before he died and since with his back etc so if he can find some pleasure in fishing then good for him. I really do not mind the shopping either because I only go online and order what I need, the worst bit is putting it away when it is delivered so no real hardship there.

Shiney, I do hope your back is ok and yours WOO as well. How lovely of that little bird to come and say hello to you Shiney. Hope Mrs S' knee is improving.

I do hope Kandy your toe is much better now, Waves to Loli and her boys and girls and our other friends too. Have a good day all, God bless.

            Aloha!:wub2:
