Couldn't get on here for most of the day yesterday so gave up in the end

Had a bit of excitement this morning when i was walking round the village with my camera this morning I spotted a group{25+} of what i thought was Redwing/Fieldfares feeding on berries but when three of them flew and started calling i realised they were Waxwings .I got some photos of them but was trembling so much i thought they would be no good but you can see them all though thye are not as clear as they would be if i had one of those extra large expensive cameras/lens

I have let the county recorder know so that if he so wishes he can make note of them and i might get a mention on the local bird report location thingy

I am going back out this afternoon to see if they are still about as we still have snow here and the forecast is for -6c tonight,brrrrr So glad we got that insulation done

Hello everyone,

I am back on line again. My computer caught a chill yesterday, and I started messing a round with a few buttons, and I ball### it all up, it's taken me nearly a whole day to get sorted.

I took Peter OH back to dentist today for checkup, and things have improved.

He now can wear his plate, and start eating more solid food,(sounds like a baby)

Me, well it has taken me until today to get back to some normality, I feel like doing a bit of housework today, (steady girl)

Suffice to say, hope you all have a good day. We have a sunny day, yesterday we were covered in snow.

Having a baking session this morning,this weather isn't putting the 'girls' off laying and the eggs are mounting up.....

Shiney so sorry you are feeling poorly as Loli says we could come round with our oily rags. Do look after yourself.

Loli it must be lovely to always have fresh eggs handy. I wish we could keep some chooks but Landlady is a bit testy about Steve and all his fish as well as was put out because we went ahead and got another dog. As I pointed out the lease said we could keep a dog! She was in a bad mood because she didn't want to contribute to all the decorating we had done. Oh yes she wanted the work done but didn't want to pay for it and what's more she didn't and put the rent up to boot. Oh well that is life.

Morning everyone,

Its cold here, and expecting some snow later today.

I was in Toronto yesterday, and just waiting to hear if I am heading down again today or tomorrow. I have a manicure appointment and eyebrow waxing tomorrow, so i'll go after that.
