        Aloha everyone,

Much cooler this morning and overcast. Just been out and picked a bowlful of strawberries.

Loli, keep say I will write a book about Lucky's Kingdom. Lucky being the first St Kilda ram who started the menagerie off. Sorry your pc is still playing up.

Shiney and WOO tomorrow apparently is going to be the hottest day of the year. There will be enough sun for everyone!

Have a good day all. I prefer it cooler like this. God bless.

        Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone is coping in this heat:phew:....the temperature hit 32 degrees here yesterday and took it's time to cool down....it was still 20 degrees at 10.30 pm....i did do quite a bit in the garden yesterday but was forever stopping to sit in the shade .....i wanted to get as much done as i could because i'm at work all the weekend and would like to come home to just having to do the watering....i think i spent as much time 'eating' the garden as gardening.....snacking on chilli's, cherry toms, nibbleing carrots and peas ,chomping on Rocket and had the odd Strawberry and Raspberry too:biggrin: ....

Moyra....if you get the chance a book sounds great:dbgrtmb:

Wishing everyone a perfect day, take it easy and take care:SUNsmile:

        Aloha everyone,

We have guests coming later this morning who will be staying for lunch. Although it's said to be the hottest day of the year I shall be cooking a Thai curry :blue thumb:

Moyra, the idea of the book sounds good. It's hard work but great fun to have a project like that.
Even though it's very difficult to find a publisher to print your book you could always put it on the internet :). To actually self-print can be expensive and then you would need to find your outlets. If you do get around to having it printed (as opposed to putting it on the internet) I think I may have a book bar code left that you can have. Quite often shops won't take books without a bar code and book wholesalers definitely wouldn't.

I'm going to browse GC before starting on prep for the lunch.

Keep cool and have a great day

        Aloha!

        Aloha everyone,

Good morning everyone. I am not looking forward to this sort of heat today 90f in old currency. 32c is just too hot. I took Amber out early. I think she will have to forego her lunchtime walk and just wander round the back garden by then the very far back bit will be in the shadow of the flats themselves hopefully.

Thanks for your kind offer Shiney. I shall have to get my skates on if I am ever to achieve it. I already have a half finished book somewhere bet the print has faded away now.

Have a good day all, God bless.

        Aloha!:wub2:

Just been out and water all my pots and troughs and filled the butts, now I have left the hose on sprinkler on the lawn I shall have to move it every so often as the sprinkler doesn't reach far. Far enough to dampen my shirt and trousers though. Lol. Hope you all managing to keep cool. Must remember to do Ambers Flea stuff tonight so it dries overnight. If I do that either that will remind me to do the drops in my eyes are vice versa. Have a good day all.
