Awe Upsydaisy thankyou, last winter we did the Greenbelt walk to try and save our land, we got soaked there too rain, sleet and snow, my mum had a nice hot drink ready with bacon sandwiches yummy

No @Flumpy , nobody seems to know what's happened to him. We've all been asking for a couple of weeks now, there is even a 'Where's Verdun Gone ??' thread.
Really hope things are OK with him.

 

Was he looking after his brother at one point?

 

His brother has had issues resulting in serious health problems and Verdun has now managed to get him into a care home. He was saying how lovely it was and that his brother was settling in well. all is still good and that @Verdun is now able to relax and recharge his batteries.

Sun here too at the moment although they predict heavy rain later.

Still have loads of bulbs to plant out but our soil is so soggy now... a couple of weeks ago it was as dry as a desert! No happy medium is there.!
