Windy outside but blue sky and sun will ignore the poss of a shower
Not cold at all so quite pleasant
Will check on gh and conservatory plants and order potted on cuttings to grow quickly:rasp:

 

Morning all, hope your all feeling better, I feel like I’m getting the lurgy as one of our staff came in work poorly so now we all have sore throats .

I just had a peak at my greenhouse, I can’t wait to set it up

Tomorrow we are meant to be going on a protest against developers trying to plan to build on greenbelt land all around my parents and neighbors houses, only thing is, it’s forecast snow
This is the walk we are doing.......

It's very sad to see land swallowed up by developers

At the beginning of our lane one of the fields was sold a couple of years ago and there are now 20 residential dwellings there!! It use to be filled with cows when we first moved here 37 yrs ago...so sad.

Thankfully it doesn't effect us as it's too far away for us to see it from our house and as it's a 'no through 'road we don't get to see all the additional traffic that comes with it either....but that is not the point, still wasn't good news!

Trouble is that houses are needed, but nobody wants them on their own doorstep....not sure what the answer is really

Right I'm off to do battle against this diabolical wind.

Was very windy but moderating somewhat now......blue skies are tempting me into the garden
Will be potting on niece’s small Christmas tree later ...should grow quite a bit this summer, hopefully
