Morning everyone, thanks for all your good wishes for hubs. He has gradually got a lot worse and is diagnosed with having a bad chest infection which has obviously helped create his breathing problems too. He's now on antibiotics and has to use an inhaler too.
:fingers crossed: He'll soon be on the mend:)

Hope your headache eases @shiney ....also hope you're not doing the driving:yikes:. Take care :grphg:

@Upsydaisy I hope the antibiotics work quickly for him. :dbgrtmb:

I let the car do that! :heehee:

That's the worst I've felt since I used to be under the migraine clinic but a number of pills later and a stroll round the garden with Mr Robin has got me almost human again. :phew:

Thanks @lolimac , he's currently snoozing away and catching up on lost sleep. He really needs his sleep as he normally requires 8hrs or more each night.....and is a bear with a sore head with less!! Unlike me, 5 is my norm!!:)

I'm a night owl, bed around 12:30- 1pm but always wake up around 5:30.
My thoughts are that I will eventually have a long time laying down!!!:lunapic 130165696578242 5: Life is way too short!

                  Aloha everyone,

I'm slightly different from most people :noidea:. I usually get one or two hours a night, haven't been to bed for over fifteen years but doze a little in the middle of the night in my armchair. I've been similar since a kid, slept a bit more than that then, but my bedroom was stuck almost right at the top of a rather big house (seven flights up) with three other lots of tenants dotted through the house. I was put there, in a fairly large room, with some of my toys and told not to disturb anyone until mum or dad called me! When I was six the situation changed. In the winter it was my job, as I was always awake early, to go downstairs at 5.30 and get the fire started in the kitchen/dining/living room (the lounge was only ever used when we had guests). This could be starting from scratch or getting it going again if it had been banked up. Eat your heart out Health and Safety people :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I'm feeling a bit better this morning :blue thumb:

                  Have a great day

                  Aloha!

@moyra I hope your knee improves quickly. Do you have it strapped up? :grphg:

@Upsydaisy I hope both you and hubby are felling better today. :grphg:

I'm gradually getting better and don't feel too bad at all. :blue thumb: Just have to be careful. :)

Off to the chiropodist this morning for my usual footsy.

Keep well and have a great day

                            Morning all :)

Oh dear, sorry to hear you're still suffering with your knee @moyra ..yes I was wondering too, are use using a knee support?

Glad to hear that you're on a gradual path to recovery @shiney .

Take it easy now both of you :dbgrtmb:

Nothing seems to be improving with hubs yet, not sure if it's a case of getting worse before it gets better :dunno: Perhaps the meds take a while to kick in too. He had to use the inhaler on and off throughout the night to ease his breathing.
I'm much the same, no better but no worse either ...so that's a positive:)

Have a good day ( before the storm hits):)

                              Good morning everyone :)

Wishing you and hubby the best Upsy. :)

My own brother is in hospital.....a lifetime heavy drinker, prob an alcoholic now really, and it is now taking its toll. Never really got on with him but it is sad to see the condition he is in now and I am his next of kin. His son was in the same ward...gastro and liver....a couple of weeks back and equally in a bad way but they don’t communicate with each other!!! It’s all down to me it seems now to liaise with everyone:noidea:
My brother was a successful musician and businessman, made a lot of money but now, according to him, is “skint”. Everything spent on booze. A perfect warning to any youngster about the pitfalls of alcohol:noidea:
