Unfortunately you can't get it on the NHS :noidea:

I've just popped in after an hour of watering the greenhouse, plants under cover and in pots with the hose.

Now off to continue mowing. :phew:

I wont be voting today or on the 23rd for the EU elections. Our votes are worthless. The politicians do not listen to us and are only self interested.:rasp:

Good morning @moyra and everyone else.

Bit of a sad day as it's the anniversary of my lovely Mum's death. Still have an iffy throat but will join the rest of the family today...will just keep a safe distance!

                  Have a good day :)

                    Aloha everyone,

We actually got some rain yesterday. Unfortunately it wasn't even enough to bring me in from the garden! So the sprinkler is still going.

My back is still giving me some trouble but after needing to go out, and the necessary quite a bit of walking, I think the kinks may have been ironed out :fingers crossed:. Then I can do more gardening. :)

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

That's often the way with backs, a good walk can often work wonders. Take care @shiney :)

                        Good morning everyone :)
A sad day for you Upsy? Just remember the good times. :)
A lovely day in prospect......sorting a friend’s insurance and other paperwork first thing but then hoping to get some jobs done in the garden
I potted on cosmos purity on again too....now in 3 litre pots, pinched back yet again, and will go out in the garden in a couple of weeks or so
Will also grab more local compost.....I mix it with mpc, perlite and fertiliser and it seems to make a medium plants in pots and containers enjoy.
The cold nights forecast this weekend hopefully will not affect us down here as everything is growing away so well :noidea::noidea:
No sign of colocasia Black Coral growing so I tipped it out to have look see. It’s fine...plenty of shoots but I wasn’t sure if it was planted upside down. Repotted and watered well:)

                              Good morning folks :)
Think you’re right Upsy....not sure things do get easier with time :noidea:
Planned to plant out runner beans today but a tad chilly tonight so sensible to wait a couple of days I think
I remember last year’s early May bank holiday as a scorcher.....bit cooler this time but still not too bad I think:)

                                Aloha everyone,

We shan't be planting runners for at least another couple of weeks. Shall sow another couple of hundred this weekend. Pre-orders have reached 200 which is handy because I can give them to them earlier and tell them to keep them under cover :heehee:. I've run out of room in the greenhouse where I can keep them off the ground out of slugs' way.

I hope to finish this week's mowing this morning. It's only about 1,000sq ft of easy mowing so shouldn't take long. I finished yesterday's hard mowing in the rain.

I need to prepare for this afternoon's cookery lesson I'm giving. Prepping the veg takes the most time and I do it in advance of them turning up. I'm doing chicken and veg Thai curry. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
