    Morning all. I think a lot of us will finally get the much needed rain today.:dbgrtmb:

    Hope your day isn't spoilt by it too much @Verdun .I think it could be a case of hit or miss if you get some after this big dollop of rain cloud passes over .:fingers crossed:

      The heavy rain has turned out to be a steady drizzle but I'm sure the plants are enjoying it.

              Well, yesterday's drizzle certainly changed to vicious hailstorms - but I was nice and warm and cosy indoors. :dbgrtmb: The garden was very happy with it. :) It will be a lovely day.

                What a day yesterday ,we had it all except for snow. Strong winds, torrential rain ( that has battered down quite a few plants :sad:) , sunshine, hail and an almighty thunderstorm mid afternoon. No doubt the garden appreciated the wet stuff though.:dbgrtmb:

                Damage assessment today!!!

                        Yesterday turned out to be a bit of a nightmare! Each time I went to go outside it started raining. When the weather did become calmer we had to deal with a problem for a 90 year old friend of Mrs Shiney. Mrs Shiney picked her up from home, currently not able to drive, for a treatment. Then we were going out to lunch. Whilst at lunch she was saying that she can't find her car keys (although not driving again yet). We said we would look round her house when we drop her back but she said that she wanted to tidy it before she let us in. So, when she had done so she was going to phone us if she hadn't found them - but first she wanted her afternoon nap.

                        None of this was a real problem, although lunch took ages as she doesn't stop talking and her voice is one that grates on my hearing. We dropped her home and she wouldn't go in until we drove away. An hour later we got a phone call from her neighbour. She hadn't been able to find her keys and he'd eventually got in through the garage (took part of the door off the hinges). She said she remembers having the keys whilst in my car. So we searched my car, to no avail. The we searched Mrs Shiney's treatment room - no go! Then I suggested to Mrs Shiney that she may have dropped them in Mrs Shiney's car. Bingo!!! :doh:

                        I drove round to her place, gave her the keys and drove home. It was sunny all this time but the heavens opened just as I arrived home! :mad: Phew! I feel better now :heehee:

                            Lovely day in store with lots to.

                            Can't wait to start planting out, with seeds sown for two gardens I literally can't move in the greenhouse! I'll give it another week as night temps still dip low :blue thumb:
