Cooler today but it’s bright and dry.....the odd shower is possible they say?

Added to plants to be taken to my nephew’s tomorrow....not sure he has a big enough garden though. His consistent remit is “evergreen, always flowering, low maintenance and scented”...???!!!

Thanks @shiney , yes hopefully the appointment should come through pretty promptly ...so they say, as he has a problem they already know about.
He is doing OK now, but it brought back memories of when he had this reoccurring heart problem about 10 years ago, we had thought it was sorted. So very scary but as I said the ambulance arrived within 5mins.

Hopefully get back out into the garden today......but I'm not allowing hubs to

Please to say that the first appointment for hubs came yesterday and it's for next Monday, nice and quick as promised we are waiting on another one too.

Looking forward to the rain too.....not sure we will get heavy stuff but a couple of days of light showers will do the trick.
Did a lot of planting at my nephew’s yesterday so some wet weather will be perfect for them
Not using nematodes or pellets for slugs etc. so torch hunting at night now.....I think it’s prob the most effective method of controlling them.

 

Good morning everyone, a lovely sunny morning. Must apply some volterol to my knee followed by some deep freeze Gel. No Upsy I haven't modified the leg brace they have refunded me the money for it and the postage but told me to keep it as it is not economical to return it. So I have it free so if it can be modified its a win win but if it doesn't adapt then I have lost nothing.

That's good that they have given you a refund then @moyra , but it's still a shame it didn't help you at all. Volterol is quite good.

Thanks @Verdun for all your wafting yesterday, we did get a fine layer of dampness in the end for 30 mins, not convinced it made any difference and nothing made it to the water butts either.

A day at my Dad's today , housework, laundry then the garden, have another 3 boxes of plants that I have grown for him to take over .
