        I'm late because it has been very busy here.

        We've also been to a garden half hour drive away that has freebie plants to be dug up. The person that purchased the house six months ago has decided to do away with most of the flower beds in the back garden and would rather they had a good home. The house was originally owned by someone who used to win gold at Chelsea. He specialised in Hostas and lilies and has taken most of the Hostas with him to his new small garden.

        The problem we had was that the ground was so dry and solid that I could only dig up shallow rooted plants (filled the car) and shall go back when there has been a lot of rain. The landscapers shan't be going in until Aug/Sept.

          Good morning everyone, a bit on the chilly side this morning or is it me? Time to get Amber out for her walk if my knee will let me, once it gets moving it should improve. Steve has gone fishing with my son in law today so peace reigns and I should get my tele fixed this afternoon. All to the good. Amber is ready to go, so best be off. Have a good day all.

            Morning everyone, thanks @moyra . All went well yesterday his meds were slightly adjusted, more tests booked and once done he will see a consultant beginning of July....so all is looking good :blue thumb:

            Had a ' day off ' yesterday, after the hospital app. in one city we drove to the other nearby one for lunch and then visited an old friend in the afternoon.

                We're still slowly getting back to normal (not a word usually applied to me!) and I've mowed two lawns and spent some time sorting out plants to take for sale this afternoon.

                        Another day where I'm so busy I missed out say hello. :doh:

                        I've just come in from tying in the latest batch of runner beans (about 50 plants) as it helps them to climb properly instead of waving all over the place.

                        Did lots of other gardening and non-gardening.

I know I am not that far away from you about 30 miles in all but too far for coming for regular runner beans although I suppose a visit for a lot to put down in the freezer would be worth it . However, there is nothing as nice as a fresh picked runner for dinner! Keep well Shiney and Upsy and other friends. Still have'nt figured out how you pick up the @ name thing for mentioning friends. Never mind. Knee is slowly progressing be quicker to cut the darn thing off. Lol. God bless. :dbgrtmb:

                            Good evening @moyra , so happy to hear that your knee is slowly but surely easing up a bit for you...really good news.:dbgrtmb:

                            Regarding the @ thingy that sends an alert to the person you are referring to.. all you have to do is type the @ then add the chosen name without a space ( the name will come up, or a list of them ,just click on the one you want). When you post reply it will show up blue and alert the said person.

                                Off for a day attacking my Dad's garden in a minute. Will take over another box of plants to go in too, if the forecast is right then tomorrow is our day of ...rain :yes:, so that should water everything in well......:fingers crossed:
