Good morning all, hope everyone is well today.
Dry here so a quick session in the garden, but heavy rain is predicted for later.

When it does arrive I am going to read up about rejuvenating Lavender bushes that are in desperate need of a major makeover.

We ( hopefully) had done some work on a couple of old Fuchsias....moving on around the garden now!
    My turn next!!:heehee:

    Have a great day :)

        Aloha everyone,

We had a lovely walk yesterday and went to the cinema last night. Saw Late Night with Emma Thompson - excellent entertainment.

We're going for another relaxing walk today.

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

                  Aloha everyone,

It's still sunny (sort of) but ominous looking clouds are around. We'll wait and see what the weather brings before venturing out.

Keep well and have a great day.

                  Aloha!

Hi Everyone, Sorry @Flumpy we experienced the same problem with out Rover 2000 many years ago in the middle of Croatia or Jugoslavia as it was then, the baffles in the front silencer box broke loose and every time we accelerated the car shut down. We were with the AA 5 star service but they couldn't help us so went to the British Embassy and they so happened to know a mechanic who could help us. It took them 7 days to discover it was the 'ospoof'' ehaust in serbo croat. they cut it open and removed the baffles and sealed the silencer up again. As it was newly replaced before we took off for Jugoslavia the partco people repaid our expenses. Thankfully.

My little Fiesta zeetec is still awaiting its MOT tomorrow. Fingers crossed she should get through. But she is 10 years old Bless her. She has been a brilliant car but I did have to spend £600+ to keep her on the road last year, with some underseal welding that had to be done. I should know whether I still have a car or not come Monday. I have saved a lot of money to pay for repairs but that is my secret. She is sentimental to me as she belonged to my cousin who died from leukaemia nearly 10 years ago and I am sure he looks down and is pleased I have kept her going.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone, God bless all. :wub2:

Good luck with the MOT @moyra .

Our car is almost 20yrs old!! It's a Toyota millennium limited edition model . Still looks like new and we've never had a single problem with it, thankfully it's just sailed through its MOT. Would hate to part with it, it's a much loved family member.:)

Grey and damp for the day here so mostly indoor jobs are on the agenda today.
                        Have a good day :)

Had another rough night, my hips and back play up more so when it's damp. Went to bed at 12:15am couldn't sleep so got up at 2:35 for an hour until the meds kicked in. Finally dozed off just after 4. Ugh..feel shattered, just off to my Dad's for a day of cleaning, laundry and gardening.....Will I survive :heehee:

Bonus is that it's going to be dry, have a great day!:)
