Won’t be as hot here today but temperatures are supposed to be extreme in some places so stay cool.

 

Nope I'm up and have been since 4am.

Morning everyone and another gorgeous day to look forward too . Not so close today as there is a slight breeze reaching low 30's today.
Not much doing here today at my sister's, have her laundry to do and have brought over a couple of plants to fill an empty pot that she has, but they will wait to be planted out as it will be too hot for them today.

Hoping that the weather cools a bit by tomorrow as my niece will sit with my sister while I spend a day over at my Dad's

Oops thanks @shiney ,you've reminded me that my sis and I have to go over all the daily records from our brother's carers as we have a review meeting in a week's time.

 

31c and we are literally melty if in our uniforms here, no fans and no air-con

 

My sister's was done at 4am but we have been distracted with umpteen phone calls from S Services, care team and GP in regards to our brother. Have invited him over this afternoon for a grilling!!!!
That will teach me to open my mouth 'not much doing today'...joke!

Still have my own home laundry to do and my Dad's tomorrow.....retirement is such fun !!! I won't recognise hubs soon, poor love all on his own !

 

Good morning to slightly cooler day thank goodness.

Off to do some chores at my Dad's in a moment , my niece will sit with my sister. I hope to have time to pop home to see how hubs is doing this afternoon. Not sure if I will have much time for any gardening at my Dad's though sadly....dread to think what the Ground Elder is like....a bit scared to look as I haven't had time to do anything for a fortnight !! It will be a horror no doubt.

I've been sacked!!! My Dad has 'sacked ' me as his gardener......because I haven't stuck to my promise of doing a weekly session for the last two weeks!! ' Dead heading ' apparently is NOT gardening!!

Hmmmmm......I have been a little busy Dad of late!!! But I have done all the housework and 2 machine loads of your washing and ironing today!!!! And I am now in my pension receiving year!!!
Familes....don't you just love em!! Needless to say I've had a most awful ( and tearful) day.
Is it time for bed yet!!!!!
I'm stuck here with him I until I get picked up at 3pm.

I don't ask for appreciation.....just to been treated as a knocking on in age arthritic person doing all within my abilities to be here there and everywhere for family members in need of support!

Moan over, sorry, but I am truly upset, think lack of sleep for a week now isn't helping....just miss my own bed......and hubs

Don't be sorry @Upsydaisy ...sounds like you've been up to your neck in it. On top of all you have to do which is very stressful but you must try and have a bit of You time...I know I know,that's been said to me many a time...do we listen..do we heck.
