                Hope things are progressing in an agreeable way for arrangements for your brother @Verdun , thoughts are with you both.

                Morning everyone!

                I have been keeping my eye on you all!!! But too be honest I am very 'down' at the moment and feel like I haven't anything positive to say so don't want to be a grump.

                Still at my sister's ,haven't spoken or heard from my Dad since last Friday. Younger sister came down for the weekend ,we didn't see her but she added her penny worth and sent be some very hurtful emails.
                Sitting here with my lovely big sis ,we try and giggle at feeling like 'Johnny no mates' as no one has ( brother,sister or Dad) bothered to phone to check on how she is doing. My lovely hubs drops by most days...has even cooked us a meal. Brother hasn't helped as he still isn't sticking to his care plan and his annoyed carers keep phoning me or my poorly sis up to see what's up!!
                We do feel a little hurt considering all we both do to support our Dad's and brother's wish to continue living in their own homes.Thrown into the mix that I took 4mths off work to care for my younger sis a couple of years ago and my older sister had to leave builders in her home to come up to help me.
                It's certainly been an eye opener for us both...and has made us realise that we have to re-think the dependence that has been put on us.

                Mini grump over , behave yourselves....I'm watching!!:heehee:
                Will post whenever I pop back home with garden news....apparently my Glads. got battered in the recent heavy rains despite me staking them :sad:

                  @Upsydaisy

                  You're very welcome to have a good grump on this thread :dbgrtmb: and that's official - as I'm President of The Grumpy Old Men's Club and I'm making you an honorary member. :old:

                  Ungrateful Family Members Club should be the title of a club to which we can nominate family and the club can then send out free membership cards to them.

                  Best wishes to you and your sister :wub2:

                      Don’t get too down Upsy......we all get a run of low times.:) Family can be heavy going at times and seem ungrateful......correction, are ungrateful. You know you are being kind and caring and prob taken for granted.

                      Folks, family and friends, often treat me the same way.......know they can rely on me yet give little or nothing in return.

                      So, go on have a grump....we won’t judge you; we’ll just listen and offer support if we can:)

                      Meanwhile, a mini crate of lager greeted me on my return today. A little note saying “thank you”. It’s the little things Upsy that lift us.....plus my mail order delivery of plants arrived too:) of course, it’s :SUNsmile: too:)
