It is lovely here. We are enjoying temperatures in the 70's and low 80's during the day and 20 degree dips overnight which is lovely for sleeping

It it rather cloudy at the moment and we are promised some rain so I have decided to do some wage earning work inside while I wait for the skies to clear.

I have always been an opportunist (inside work on rainy days/outside playing on the sunny ones) and an optimist and luckily able to get over disappointments quickly, which is a requirement when you have the caliber of weather guessers we have over here

@moyra I hope your day goes along better than your night did. @wiseowl I'm glad to hear all is in order and calm in your nest @shiney you're making me tired and it's only just 7:14 here! @Zigs, money in is always nice and getting paid to do things we enjoy is a bonus.

We had torrential rains last night. Free water Free water! You'd think water would be cheap given the size of our great lakes but no, it is not so a good rain to feed the lawns and gardens and fill the rain barrels is wonderful The sad part is that the neighbour south of us is continually draining these great lakes to water the lawns of Kentucky and other areas and then they allow a great deal of pollutants to enter the system to make things even nastier. We spend a lot of money on environmental work to offset these abuses and that is a little annoying..but you the water this side is lovely for swimming and drinking

I am going to get all of the housework, which does not involve use of electricity, done today. Guess I'd better get on with swabbing the decks

Good day everyone
It is off peak rates for electricity use today so I am going to be using the central vacuum system to suck the dust out of this house

This afternoon I hope to be weeding and later this afternoon I'm off to a place about an hour from here to attend a 60th birthday party. There will be a pig roast there to celebrate the occasion. I have not been there before and will probably only stay until about 8ish which will allow me to navigate back to familiar roads before the sun sets. Should be a fun shindig.
