@CanadianLori yes what are you making? Hope your sister is better soon. I've done all my planting out. Just got to keep up with the fruit picking and next week if the wild plums are ready, do some jam. Last year there wasn't any.:doggieshmooze:

Flip-Flop that last one alone is a huge amount of work!!! :thud: Hope you have not over done things my friend :cmonhug:
In the same vein as your post, my #1 son has told me he *needs* me to collect him from work for 3 consecutive nights the weekend after next. :th scifD36: I *work* weekends! Not only that, that *particular* weekend is the one where, early doors Monday morning, I need to hot foot it to Wales in anticipation of #2 son's graduation at silly a.m. on the Tuesday morning! There is no way his request is practicable :nonofinger: But, who feels a shed-load of guilt in refusing? Yup, me! So pleased you were able to assist your #3 son @wiseowl. I'm going to shrug off feeling like a bad, baaaaaad, mother and :waggy:draw the "fine line" with my #1 son! It's "M" for "Mother" not muggins ... trouble is .. I feel so baaaaaaaaaaaaad  But I simply cannot survive on sketched sleep any more, now I'm older *wibble*
:waggy: Little perisher will simply have to grow a pair and use some of his hard earned to find his own solution (says the hard face "M" :snooty: )

Sooooooooooo, frustrating!!! Hope you gave the company "what for!" :slaphead:

:grphg: She is blessed to have you :grphg: Speeding, healing vibes winging their way to your sister :grphg:

Thank you @"M" - Only about a 40 mile round trip and with my cast making my foot a little heavier, it didn't take long :heehee:

Decided to sew some tops that I meant to get going on - might as well do something while I wait for the wage earning fabric to get here

                Morning early people :)

Bit of rain overnight, more on the way

Fixed gutter last night and set up other bits of gutter and planks to channel it into dustbins :)

Have a good day everyone :spinning:

                  Aloha everyone,

Overcast but bright this morning. I've not bothered with trusting the weather forecast as the last four times it has said we shall get rain - they lied! Sprinkler back on this morning.

Fortunately I shall be at the bridge club this afternoon as Mrs Shiney is having a load of ladies round for tea and a look round the garden. She has started giving talks on flower arranging to one of the U3A groups in a town nearby and has invited them round. :rolleyespink:

I need to pick rhubarb to sell at the club. That's one of the jobs that I find difficult because of my back :noidea:. So I'll stop when I've had enough.

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Good day everyone
@shiney we have the same problem over here. The weather guessers keep telling me I'm getting free water then all I receive is a tease consisting of a few clouds that scud north or south of me and leave not a drop!

Everyone, please play safe and enjoy these lovely jumperless days :)

                            Good afternoon, fellow WW'ers

We're still on a promise of rain but the rain hasn't fallen on any other day its been predicted so I'm not holding my breath! The sky has been overcast since first light so, just on the off-chance the sky decides to honour us with some water, I've put some tubs out (those plastic trug wotsits) so I can capture any/every precious drop! :think2: Still need up turn the wheelbarrow right way up. Cooler today though and that is a blessing!

                            Smiles and vibes for all
