    Gooooooooooooood Evening fellow WW'ers :spinning:

Been a busy day in "M"-land today. Spent most of the day shopping - needed to get a new suit for #2 son because it's his graduation in 12 days time  (can't have the Welsh thinking we don't have any *standards* here in the Garden of England :nonofinger:  )
Did look around for an outfit for myself but didn't find anything I liked at a price I liked, so came home ... naked? :dunno: Well, I was going to write "clothes-less" but naked sort of fit the bill :heehee:

Off to Fiztpatrick's tomorrow with Ozzy. My car is being a little temperamental, so it's fingers crossed we get there and fingers crossed on both hands that he is going to get a good report! Yes, I know he will never get *better*, as in fully recovered, but I'm hopeful the exercises we do at home in the name of "physio" is helping to give him a better quality of life and the restricted walks (on-lead only) will have brought him some relief. :blue thumb:

Erm ... ... how shall I put this (tactfully? :dunno: ) ... :waggy: think there is an oxymoron hiding in that statement Mr Shiney

Hope it all goes smoothly - you are such a good Sis! - and you don't get soggy in the process (hope you've covered your cast? *Not* against any rain ... oh no :nonofinger: ... but so your sister is not left mortified by the sightings of it in her new neighbourhood! :heehee: )

Smiles and positive vibes to one and all xxMxx

Not really, :) as we don't hang clothes out to dry. Otherwise we need to wash them again . The crows head straight for them :hate-shocked:.

You'll need to be careful with your language when you come over here. We no longer use that word for soil. It's used in its slang context only, nowadays. :noidea: :snorky:

        Urban dictionary:-
The meaning 'sodomite' is a little old fashioned. More typically it's used as a softer form of 'fool', 'idiot', or 'illegitimate child'.
"He's a daft old sod, but you've got to love him. "

And is not truly reflected in your Urban Dictionary references ;) :heehee: Thankfully, society has grown up a bit since *those* days  :heehee: ;)

                Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl What a lovely bright and cheerful photo :spinning:

My hearing test went well. Quote:- "Your hearing is excellent, especially for your age." :old: :rolleyespink: :th scifD36: :heehee:

I got all my shopping done for my cooking of lunch for the students on Sunday to get home and find that we're now having friends round for dinner Sunday night. As well as having our minister and partner coming round for lunch tomorrow :hate-shocked: (they invited themselves :noidea:).

I'll mow the lawns today. :)

Off up to Willow's after breakfast, cut a load of poles and need to make a frame to support her tomatoes.

I've told her  She'm knows how to use "you'm" or "we'm" now, so she'm be ok in the West Country :snorky:

                      Good day everyone
Well, whatever it is, I followed the label and laid it green side up.. It's good and bleedin' soaked. for now.. :)

It is cloudy again but I believe we're only supposed to get a tease of water out of it instead of a good downpour.

I got half of my sister's move done and will finish on Sunday which is her next day off work and when I will have my van back. A little stiff from yesterday. I felt like a contortionist because my cast made it difficult to crawl around the floor while assembling her new Ikea bed. Took nearly 2 hours to put the darned thing together.:phew: I did get lucky though because the rain stopped throughout the entire time I had the convertible top down for moving the bed components to her flat

I'm going to get some wage earning done which will also help me work out the stiffness in my muscles. :yay:

Then I've got the grandkids coming for lunch. Not sure what I shall serve

                      Play safe everyone :)

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Just been out for an early morning wander round the garden with a cuppa, enjoying that lovely early morning quiet and freshness. :coffee:

The bees and birds are up and about, I was contemplating on how sometimes it's lovely to just lose yourself in the moment and enjoy the gentle sounds of nature in the garden - at which point the local magpies started up their cacophony of squawking and interrupted my musings. :th scifD36: Oh well, it's all part of nature's rich tapestry I suppose.

It's a pleasantly cool, still morning here with some high cloud, ideal for getting a few jobs done in the garden.

                        Have a good weekend.

                          Aloha everyone,

I only got half the lawns cut so shall attempt to do the rest this morning.

The birds are eating us out of house and home! :hate-shocked: They've got through the last 20kg in four weeks :yikes: - the greedy little boogers. Looking out of my office window I see that Sarafi has got up from his sleep on the top shelf in the greenhouse so I guess he will now be waiting patiently with his nose stuck against the glass of the back door. He's always hopeful of a tidbit. :)

                          Sun's coming out.

Keep well and have a great day
