We are having a pleasant, steady rain which will be the perfect amount to water the lawns and gardens. Thank you Mother Nature

Then later, we are promised sunshine and temps in the high 70's. Hmmm, just in time for sitting on the patio at the pub

We were promised a sunny day and I started laundry thinking it would dry quickly and freshly however the clouds are thickening..

I can't believe it is already the end of July with August 1st around the corner. I started thinking that I had wasted half the summer but now I look out at all of the gardens, I realise that the time was put to good use

Nice start to the day here, but it's clouding over now and rain is due soon

Still, got room to work in the pillbox after last weeks clearout

Good day everyone
The sky is only slightly clouded over and there is a nice breeze. Perfect for finishing up the laundry. I'm also working today. Got the boiler iron firing up and have 6 panels to do the iron work on while the electricity rates are low.

I'm going to experiment and throw some brussels sprout seeds in one of the cold frame areas. The package says they mature in 95 days and I hope it's true. The ones I had planted earlier are being eaten by something with a voracious appetite.
