      Aloha everyone,

@moyra that was a cheating picture of the beans as it wasn't this year. They don't start cropping that heavily for another week or so. The picture of the plums is from this week. They're gorgeous

This morning we're taking some boxes of plants over to another village for their charity plant sale. I don't know what the charity is (just going there under orders from Mrs Shiney :snorky:) but I think it's for the church. I'll find out - if I remember.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

        Morning early people :)

        Slept in this morning :snooze:

Got beans to put back upright if I can this morning. Thems not wilted so I think they're still ok.

Have a good day everyone :spinning:

That's the main reason why I built the Shineyframes in the first place. To withstand the gales we get coming across the field. The system allows the tops of the poles to be anchored (tied into the rest of the framework) so that the plants get battered but remain upright. :blue thumb:

            Good day everyone
@shiney I'll have to go back through and find a pic of your shineyframes. Sounds interesting and useful for keeping your roughage, er, beans upright.

Got another busy day. Going to go all out mixing work and pleasure and helping son with website work and doing some cooking in the wood oven. Being a cheap time of use rate for electricity today, it is time to work with the boiler iron system- now you know where the "Sweaty Betty" title comes from - sweat shop worker :heehee:

I hope I get lots accomplished today and also that everyone else gets to play all day and do it safely :)

                    Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl You'll have to make up paragraphs with words that are without the letter that is AWOL. This paragraph fits that criteria. :phew: :heehee:

We have a bright and sunny morning but it's too nippy for me to pop out there in just my undies :snorky: so the birds will have to wait for the filling of their feeders. The greedy boogers have emptied the feeders in 24 hours . That's about 2.5kgs of food :hate-shocked: I think that I'll have to put them on a diet as it's normally around 5kg per week. Although, if I go out there in my undies it might scare them away for a while :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

We went to friends last night for dinner and a wander around their garden. Their garden is four times the size of ours :rolleyespink: and I think it's getting too much for them -but still looks very good. He's about 80 and she's in a wheelchair so they now have a bit of help - although he still does the mowing, hedge-cutting works his very full allotment himself.

We have friends coming today but I need to carry on cutting the lawns and harvesting the crops before getting the food prepared. Mrs Shiney is busy getting the beds tidied up as she has a U3A group visiting the garden on Tuesday :phew:. I'll disappear off to my bridge club. :)

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

@shiney thank you for the link. They look sturdy. Food for thought.

@wiseowl I hope your n starts working again

We have bright sunshine right now but the weather guessers have promised thunderstorms this afternoon so I have not done up any laundry today to hang out.

I've got 14 minutes before my show and I need to get cleaned up before it as I have to scoot directly following it. ttfn

Have a fun day everyone and please play safe :)
