    Good day everyone
@wiseowl I hope all goes well today with your drive and your daughter's consultation.

@shiney & @moyra we don't have travellers here. There aren't any places where people can "squat" without being moved along quickly. Instead, we find that transients live on the streets and government handouts. Not much appreciated.

I am looking forward to a sunny day today. I have lots of dead heading to do and tidying. Got lots of little roma tomatoes yesterday so I can make bruschetta for supper. I made the baguettes yesterday so it will be easy peasy.

I also need to start working on my son's new website. I've only got the bare bones of it together. Need to add lots of links and things. I would like to get on with experimenting on a set up where we can make quick little films of the lures spinning under water. I've got an extra pump so I'm already part way there :)

And the best part of the day - our local grocer is selling off his remaining potting soil - 50L for $3.94 - that is about 2.4 of your pounds. My younger son has my van so I figure with a nice sunny day, I can put the top down on my car and load her up  Really looking forward to that

I hope everyone here has a super day and play safe please :)

Good morning @shiney and @CanadianLori and thank you for your kind and friendly comments very much appreciated my friends:smile:

It went well apart from the 3 hour wait to see the consultant who arrived late and then had the audacity to go for a 30 minute cup of coffee when he arrived and said the traffic was bad,(1 hour late)I respectfully informed him that the same traffic was bad when I left home at 8.15am to arrive for our appointment at 9.15am on time, and that my time was just as important as he's was,and out of 3 doctors, all 3 were late, when I left there were over 50 people waiting(standing room only) on this occasion it wasn't an overloaded system but 3 doctors and a consultant with a cavalier attitude towards patients:smile:

          Aloha everyone,

It's the calm before the storm. :th scifD36: Overcast with a hint of sun behind the clouds and dampness in the air. Sarafi is ensconced, and fast asleep, on his shelf in the greenhouse and if we get the heavy rain he will stay there all day. Ordinary rain doesn't bother him at all and he quite often wanders around in it  - and then demands cuddles when he's soaking wet! :heehee:

Michael was supposed to come today and we were going to get him to cut hedges (the privet has gone mad! :rolleyespink:) and do some digging. He phoned last night asking to postpone our work because his cousin needs help cutting down some trees (he's a tree surgeon) and he pays better money than we do. :noidea:

I may try and trim some edges if I can be bothered to go out there before the rain. :) My bouncability is there but is sleeping at the moment. :snorky:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

                      Good day everyone
We are going to have another lovely sunny day. I was very pleased with what I accomplished during yesterday's sunny day and am looking forward to another productive day :)

I need to somehow get into my tomato area and stake some of them. They are collapsing and need some sort of support. Hopefully I'll find that the cause is the weight of the fruit :)

We could use some of the rain happening over there but since none is guessed to be coming for the near future. Hmmm, think I'll turn the main lawn sprinkler back on for a few days

I hope everyone has a good day and plays safe - I plan to

                        Good afternoon fellow WW'ers :spinning:

I think the last time I posted it was the day Ozzy began hydrotherapy. I tried to take some photo's but the atmosphere was so humid that the camera simply misted up. He was quite confused by the adventure and the workout left him quite tired.
He entered the tank quite perky and wasn't too put out when the door was closed behind him. The sensation of the rising water did cause him to look a bit confused and at one point he though it was just one large drinking bowl  When the treadmill started, he did the absolute classic: he didn't move and then his rump ended up gently butting against the door :heehee: That was when he realised he was meant to walk ;) :doggieshmooze:
Below is the moment the tank was filling and he wasn't too sure what to do about the water, so decided to have a little taste :heehee: Dreadful photo, but with the misting etc it was the only one I got.

                        DSCN0771 (768x1024).jpg

He had another tank therapy yesterday and tomorrow he is off for another session. Yesterday's session wasn't quite so good. He whined, whimpered and tried desperately to get out of the tank - I'm guessing it is because it is painful for him (as well as strange). Seems for each minute he exercises in the tank equates to 12 minutes of walking out of it. His session yesterday was 4 minutes duration, spread over 3 bouts, so equivalent to a 48 minute walk. Quite a step up from the 10 minute restricted walks he's been on for the past couple of months.

The biggest shocker on that first occasion was when it came to drying him. They use a machine called a "Blaster". Now, I groom him regularly - with his double coat, it is essential - but, you would be forgiven for thinking he has never been groomed in his life! The sheer volume of undercoat and dander which flew out of his coat under the blaster was astonishing! :thud: One of the young ladies was so covered in it, she looked like a furry snowman! :heehee: Not quite as much came out yesterday and I'm optimistic it will be a reduced amount tomorrow, but it just goes to show that grooming alone does not get anywhere near tackling the shedding! Thinking of investing in a Blaster for home use on him ;)

Smiles and vibes for all xxMxx

@"M" I could use one of those blasters - nail down everything in the house and just blow the dust out the windows!

On a serious note, I do hope this therapy is helping him. :)

                              Aloha everyone,

Rain and floods gone, sun coming out. :blue thumb:

We're taking Barry out for lunch for his birthday. He never gets to eat out properly unless we take him so it's enjoyable to do so. :dbgrtmb:

I had better get out there and start picking as I missed out yesterday. There's likely to be a lot to do. :phew:

                                Good day everyone
We seem to be in for another sunny day however the guessers have hinted at rain later on. I hope they are correct. We need some free water. :)

I had a productive day yesterday. Got a lot of deadheading done and then got the ladder out and tracked down where a dc power line connection had come loose. So happy to just be able to "plug" it back together instead of having to string new wire. Now all of the fans are operating on their schedules again and the air is circulating around the plants. The overhead ones move a lot of air and it almost looks like a mini typhoon in there when they run (5 minutes on each 1/2 hour) :snorky:

I have another busy day of taking care of family errands. I sometimes border on resenting being the dog's body but then I remind myself that I am lucky to have the time to do it :)

See you all in the forums. Play safe please!
