    Gooooooood morning fellow WW'ers :spinning:

It is a glorious blue skied sunny day out there and the temperature is already climbing high.

Fair whacked today, I do find the heat debilitating and as the weekend was extremely busy I'm going to have a lazy day today (best laid plans of mice and men ;) ). I have plenty of admin work to keep me going and out of the sun.

#2 son has just brought me a cuppa (he is a sweet soul) so I'll enjoy that before I put my nose to the grindstone of paperwork :coffee: He's got through the paper sift for the job he's applied for, next he has to go for a "competency" interview or something. I'll have to be taxi for that one so I really should put the date in my diary  :heehee:

I still need to finish this month's book in time for the Book Club later this week so I do have that as an excuse a reason to down tools and sit somewhere quietly if the need arises. :heehee:

Ozzy isn't coping too well with the heat either, and I was thinking of setting up his paddling pool; trouble is, I'm a little worried he could slip on the plastic, which would totally un-do all the good work of the past couple of weeks ... might have to re-think that and find another way for him to cool his paws

Work was interesting yesterday ... the boss bought us all a McFlurry! Not quite sure what brought that on and I don't usually indulge but, hey, I wasn't going to say no and upset him - that would have been plain rude! :heehee: He's on duty next time I'm in work too  ... ... I'll have a smaller breakfast ... just in case ;) :heehee:

Smiles and vibes for all - don't forget your sunscreen and keep well hydrated!
    xxMxx

          Good day everyone
We are promised a day in the mid 70's which is a kind relief from the hot and humid days that have just passed. The weather guessers told us we were to receive rain yesterday and for the 10 minutes or so that this happened, I know I would have had to run round in circles under it to try to catch enough drops to cool off. We got cheated again  I have the low flow irrigation in most of the gardens but the lawn, well, I may just have to start up the big sprinkler system.

Play safe and let's all do a rain dance

                  Aloha everyone,

Teaching went well yesterday :dbgrtmb: despite the heat!

73.6F already this morning with the forecast of being our hottest day. That will make it a bit warm at the club this afternoon. :phew:

Mrs Shiney is out teaching flower arranging to the U3A this morning and I shall start, shortly, on making a big chicken casserole. Lucky that I know some big chickens :snorky:

Still watering the front garden and the sprinkler has been on since 4 a.m. :rolleyespink: Moved it a few times. With a bit of luck I'll be able to start on the back garden tomorrow.

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Good day everyone
I was delighted to wake up to cloudy skies and everything outside having gotten a good soaking. Lovely :) It is only expected to rise up to the mid to high 70's for the rest of the week and shall be wonderful for playing outside. I have some wage earning to do and will work until 10 in the mornings then hippety hop outside :)

Play safe and keep cool :)

                          Aloha everyone,

I'd done 2.5 hours of weeding by 7.30 this morning. It was perfect weather for it but I kept getting disturbed by Sarafi head butting me :cat-kittyandsmiley:

They forecast the hottest day since '76. I remember that one quite well :phew:

I'll be staying in the cool for the rest of the day :dbgrtmb:

Keep cool and have a great day

                          Aloha!

                            Good day
I was delighted to note that everything outside is thoroughly soaked again. Lovely. The new sod and gardens will have enjoyed that. I shall be watering all of the occupants of the greenhouses with freshly collected rainwater too.:)

We are expecting a sunny day and I plan to use sol to dry lots of laundry. I may also deliver and install a valance today which would mean that I have finished this week's work. Knowing myself pretty well, I realize that tomorrow I shall most likely jump into next week's work.. but it is forecast to be a rainy day and what better time to be toiling inside?;)

                            Play safe everyone
