Yes thanks had a lovely lunch with my Dad, sisters and brother here at our place....would have loved our 'boys ' to have been there too, but never mind.

Have another get together tomorrow with niece and her family....really looking forward to that as it will mean playing with the little monkey that is my great nephew ....he's only 20 mths old and is utterly adorable!!!.

I have a god daughter who’s 7 now and she’s a bag of been a too lol.

Morning everyone, well this is it.....the final goodbye to 2018!!! Gosh how it's flown by!

Nothing like being able to see where you're going is there @shiney ...it's like the fog has lifted!!!!!
Had mine done on the Friday before Christmas, just waiting to get the new pair.Thought I would start the new year as I mean to go on......with a clear vision of my aims, even though I may not always succeed!!!

Good morning everybody

 

Well, not long now and 2018 will quietly pass by while 2019 comes in playing a merry tune.

I had to go to the docs today because my pointer finger on my right hand had swollen up, was red hot and become very pussy just below the nail. I think that was caused by the acid material I used on cleaning the oven on Christmas Eve. Next time I'll make sure I wear rubber gloves.

Not sure I am going to wait up to see 2019 in but I might just catch a couple of hours sleep before the witching hour and I am sure all the fireworks and rockets are bound to wake me up to see it in. Noisy lot round here! Anyway, Happy New Year and God bless you all.

Sorry to hear about your poor finger, doesn't sound nice at all. Hope you were given something to ease your discomfort while it heals.
