        Morning everyone, how are you all!!

        We are having a bit of a heatwave ( compared to last wk!!) with double figure highs! This will boost even more plants to pop up..

        Went to see ' Can you ever forgive me' yesterday based on the true story about the latter years in the life of Lee Israel, who sadly became more famous for committing literacy forgery, very good :dbgrtmb:

        The next film I want to see is 'All is true' about the last 3 years of William Shakespare's life then 'Mary Queen of Scots'.

        Love having time now to go to the cinema!!:yes:

        Not sure of todays plans, might go into town as we need to stock up with food/ ingredients from the International Store...might even nabbed a coffee and apple slice at Ikea too;)

          It's a paperwork morning and a bridge club afternoon today.

          We rarely go to the cinema. The only time we tend to go is when we're on holiday in the Lake District.

            Back from the beach with Nico......reasonably dry albeit some mizzle about. Warm though and Nico enjoyed his swim. Always invigorating and I guess I should value it a lot more than I do:)

              Just got back home after being out all day in town. We have encountered some quite thick pockets of fog but on the whole it's been damp ,grey and extremely mild. We could hardly see across Southampton Waters!

                              Aloha everyone,

                              I got some gardening done yesterday and hope to get some done today. It's very windy out there and I had to go out at 3.30 a.m. to remove the tall bird feeder before it got blown over.

                              At one of my bridge clubs we've been having trouble with our computer scoring system (it uses Android tabs on each table that send the scores to a computer that puts all the scores together to get a result at the end of the evening) where the tabs were not communicating properly with the modem. The producers of the software were less than helpful so we have gone over to another software programme (had to change the two programmes that run everything) and the developers of the system were extremely helpful and didn't charge. :thumbsup: Last night we were running the new system for the first time and were quite nervous but :fingers crossed: it ran fine :hapydancsmil: :phew:

                              We have a busy weekend coming up as Mrs Shiney's brother is flying in from Brazil - he's been living there for almost 50 years!

                              The sun is coming out so I'll wrap up from the wind and get out there. :)
