    The really dangerous thing is these changes are brought about in a steady drip drip approach, when things become intolerable and the majority notice then we may well not be able to instigate a change or indeed a protest.

    I fear the majority of the population are uninterested in what happens, unless it directly effects them. Panem et Circenses...I wonder how little the human race has moved on in 2000 years!

    Back to Pauls's original post - I think the police response is totally disproportiante - MPs are not above the law but he was just doing his job - there is something very very wrong about this. Also it seems amazing they can find 9 policemen for this sort of trivia yet when something serious happens they can't be bothered.
