We have a rubber like base to our enamel tray, might that make a difference ? :noidea:

Yes metals can cause it to arc (sp.)

Drumsticks are done and the wafting aroma is scrummy... the dog walkers going up our lane are getting grief from their hounds !!! :roflol:

Up until 3 years ago I had combination convection oven/microwaves. I didn't use the baking mode much because pretty much anything I bake is in batches too large to fit in one of those. After the last one (of three) died, I figured I could get away with just a big microwave for $400 rather than the combo one for $800. Thank goodness I found one the exact dimensions to fit the built in shelf and vent for the old combo. I haven't regretted stepping down. I guess it comes down to your style of cooking and baking. :noidea:

Talking about cooking, I'd better get my chicken leg quarters on the barbecue too!

That's going to upset any further payouts that we might have got from the government.

Spent the whole day squashed into a room with 85 other people waiting for the British legal system to sort its self out.
And they wonder why there is a back log and it all costs so much.
Got an e mail when I finally got home telling me to go back tomorrow, I give up.:frown:

Get there at 9.45 the email says, but the courts dont even begin thinking of doing anything until 10.30.:dunno:
Its just a very poor lumbering system that doesn't really work.
I dont get anything because I'm retired, but they have paid out the daily wages of, (I'm pretty much the oldest one there), but say 70 people who have done nothing other than turn up waiting on judges and lawyers to sort out details that should have been sorted out before it came to court.
Talk about inefficient, its just stupid.

@pete Sounds like our court system. More paperwork, prattling on and zero production!

It is a low priced electricity day because it is a holiday for some. So, I used the central vacuum, baked, used the clothes dryer and all other forms of hooking up the electrodes :)

Today we decided to make the most of our glorious weather and headed into Southampton . We spent a lovely morning just wandering through the town's main central park, stopping every so often to sit and watch the world pass by. Rounded off our trip with a meal out.

                    Perfect day.:) 20230302_110337.jpg 20230302_110503.jpgView attachment 190273 20230302_110936.jpg 20230302_110942.jpg 20230302_111253.jpg 20230302_111348.jpg 20230302_111635.jpg

Very nice indeed Upsy. Must admit, neither of us have been wanders but my Sister and Brother-in-Law could spend all day doing such. Thanks for taking us along, certainly a glorious day in a lovely place.

Loads of snow here. All schools are closed. A message from one of our local Councillors:

“If anyone in Central Ward is stuck in their property and needs prescriptions or any urgent shopping send me a message and I will do my best to help.” ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This is what it's all about :dbgrtmb:.

Never been invited to be on a jury. I was invited to apply to be a magistrate, but declined on the basis that its voluntary so no salary. Dont fancy mixing it up with those in the dock aswell.

In 2016 they raised the maximum age for jury duty from 70 to 75.
