Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

1. Oh, forgot to mention that my rear end has a little damage from backing into a pole or two, however it is only a few scratches and has not caused any operational issues ...

 

You crack me up, sleep with a smile everyone!

 

Went to get my car undercoated and had to postpone it because the fellow's nozzle was broken. I didn't make him show me...

Stopped and saw my mechanic and he is going to find a used people carrier for me to buy as a family pool car. So very nice because this cuts out another middle man!

Will continue trying to figure out how to get the soot off of my hands (from playing with the lanterns) as so far soap and water, naptha, degreasers, none have worked. Oh well, at least it's a change from having dirty knees.

My neighbour brought over a home baked loaf of banana bread as a thank you for a small favour I did for him. His wife is an excellent baker. Can't decide though whether to eat it or take the fast route which would be to just slice it up and tape it to my stomach, hips and thighs

on a different note, does anyone know of a good way to get soot, chimney black off of skin??

 

Walked down to our surgery for a fasting blood test this morning so after two losing a drop I trudged home in the fog and damp and am now sitting here with my cuppa of the day plus my porridge/fruit/nuts/sunflower seeds while sitting here n the warm typing this


Off now to wash up the breakfast things then going to get the veggies prepared ready for dinner this evening and will them sort through the buckets of apples that we brought back from the lottie yesterday afternoon and get some of them prepared and cooked up for eating and freezing

Will also have the radio on while this is going on as I like listening to good old JVS on three counties or Radio5.At least the background noise will mask this blxxdy whistling noise in my ear

 

Yesterday I spent a lot of time up on a ladder because when I first ran all the wires from my solar panels into the greenhouses or down to the cellar to a battery and back out, and so on - I did not label them so spent three hours getting that done and today in between going to two different suppliers, I will be checking the voltages to make sure I didn't muck something up.

Picked up the people carrier I bought last week. It's a dandy.Seats seven. no room for snow white....

Seriously now and back to the left/right discussion. If you favour your right, then would you fan away the wind with that hand, or stride away quickly from your noxious vapour trail, striding first with the opposite foot?
