@rosebay i remember reading an article about adult scooters a while a go and im sure it said bags on the handle bars are a no no and the people in the comments agreed. Something about it effecting the blance and making it unsafe etc

Today is severe ME awareness day so the picture i took of myself for the #sufferinginsilence campaign had been retweeted and shared all over the place and the cideo of the chilli challenge is now being shared.

Honestly and i know i shouldnt say this but im sick of hearing about my illness now lol raising awareness is so important but when it comes to the awareness days I get fed up of it and want to hide from it all.

So have been trying to stay away from it but crocheting a cupcake which i have stupidly made a tad too large for my cake stands i think.

Thanks for the valuable info re. scooters and shopping.

I have just done some further research and some scooters have luggage fixtures (look like rucksacks attached to the vertical bar holding the handlebars)...but pricey.

Would you rather eat a cupcake than crotchet one? (I can't see what all the trendy fuss is about cupcakes - all show and little substance .... plain sponge and sickly sweet icing...give me a chocolate brownie or a fruit cake or a black forest gateau any day!) [IMG]

@liliana I hope you won't mind me asking, which AD's are you taking? I am on Amitriptyline, wouldn't be without them now.

Went to my mums for a bit today and helped her design the bottom of the garden and changed all the plans for a bathroom they are having done because honestly the layout was awful and i cant beleive a bathroom designer even came up with it. Also managed to find an amazing present for my brothers birthday for my parents to buy him.

Also after eating that chilli and being really hungy my body decided on thursday or friday that food was completely repulsive and it never wants to be hungry. I have been forcing myself to eat a meal a day. Today i manage to eat a bit more and actually wanted some food which is good but i have lost half a stone and 2 inches from my waist which is great but obviously not very healthy. Sorted if the doctor weighs me this week tho

Can you show that you are really really hot after eating that chilly because, to me, it looks like you ate a candy....?

            Im sorry but what?

Im pretty sure there is no way i could of proven my mouth was burning in that video other than my reaction. It was hot and the seeds tasted vile.

Do they even do candy that looks like chillies? i have never seen anything like that and would not know where to get some from.

Also why would i fake something that is for a charity and cause supporting an illness that i suffer from. Its kind of a bit rude to suggest that in my opinion

Interesting thread! I too hate vandalism and littering with a passion! On numerous occassions I've been tempted to go around and pick up rubbish but I'm pretty sure I'd look a tad strange. Shame I'm so self concious!

I'll just make my own litterless garden where I can hide from it all :sofa:

And all this talk about chili chocolate and ginger chocolate is making me hungry! :coffee:

Also, my news from today is that I've given notice of marriage to the council. 19 days and I can legally marry my fiancee!

Renewed my TV licence today - £145.50p! [IMG] In Scotland no-one has been jailed for not paying for this licence in the past 5 years, whilst scores of people have here in England and Wales....one of the lesser drawbacks of Tory policies (austerity cuts being the main concern for most!) I wonder if the BBC will be successful in calling for an end to this licence fee; they are asking for a radical overhaul.

No gardening, just sitting in it, in the sun, reading. Bliss.

First tried the charity shops, nothing suitable there so went to a nice boutique type shop and they had just what i was looking for but.................the price tag was £89 !!!!!!!! :yikes: does anyone really pay that much for a belt???

I've been given the date for the first consultation for a medical course at Imperial College for
"A Randomised controlled trial assessing the impact of a low calorie diet on weight loss in obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus treated with insulin".

I've got a bit of a paunch! and I'm never going to get rid of it with my low level of determination and being so easily led astray, so I'm banking on this trial to help. It means quite a few trips up to 'the smoke' but as we're both retired it will be a good day out!

                          Cheers, Tony.:heehee:
