Been out all day, fishing. Caught a few non-keepers. Oh, well. Ended up at No Name Pub, in one of the keys. had some good beers and pizza. have to tell you from our place we can see this blimp up in the air. So looked it up, this is it. https://www.bigpinekey.com/blimp-fat-albert-history/
    and another beautiful sunset.

@shiney the list won't get started yet as we are busy getting the caravan cleaned out and washed ready to go back into storage as we don't like leaving it on our drive as it makes getting into the garage awkward:snorky:

Mr Kandy used to get up at 5.50am to get ready for work as everything he does has twenty minute time slots (don't you just love living with someone who is different from the rest of us:snorky:) but now he is retired he has gone onto his weekend sleep pattern(7am) although it is 7.07am and he is still in bed so will see what time he surfaces this morning.I think hoovering out the van and cleaning out the van fridge plus mowing my friends lawn has worn him out a bit:snorky:. Can't begin to tell you all the jobs I got done yesterday,it would tire you out:snorky:

I woke up early and prepared myself for work. Then, had great quality time for my family.

Went for some business meetings in abingdon and got stranded on a40 after some poor souls crashed and closed the road. Foul weather yesterday and loads of roads flooded and closed near me.

Last night party at Mel Fisher court yard. Today relaxing. Out later back down to Key West to meet up with more friends for more party time. Thinking tomorrow to go out on a boat for fishing. Then later Friday, out to dinner with 30 friends at Michael's to celebrate our WA.

Yesterday was just shopping and meetings.

After I've got some gardening done today I shall go into town to see the exhibition by Public Health England who are going to move there. They're spending £400 million setting the place up as a science research facility and don't expect it to be fully operational for about eight years :rolleyespink:

I'll have a good look at their plans and ideas and stick my two pennyworth in :heehee:

Over the last few weeks I've dismantled a big brick barbecue, broke up and moved a 2m x 1m x 1 ft thick lump of concrete, uplifted and relaid around 20 90 cm x 60 cm slabs and filled countless rubble bags with brick, hardcore etc. I did all this with my steel toe caps on.
Today I filled the boot with the last of the rubble bags, took them to the tip and the second bag burst .... A brick landed square on my foot and broke my big toe. Why wasn't I wearing my steelies today? I'm so annoyed with myself for being so darned stupid :wallbanging:
It's mighty sore. Garden progress will be halted for the next 6-8 weeks. Arrggghhhhhh :wallbanging:

Yep, went out Friday morning fishing. We caught 22 fish between us. Half took to local restaurant to cook up for lunch with sides, yummy, have more for today, and Sunday. Leisure it to day till the big costume party on the beach at 7PM, live music, food and about 200 people. Fun. will get pics there. do have fishing pic on my facebook. Will be flying home on Monday.

Weather is amazing here at moment.:spinning:Spent most of yesterday cutting grass and planting up the baths out front. Had candlelight dinner on patio.

Had short bike ride this morning and then sat on patio for most of day reading. Went to beach this evening, took some sunset pics and had walk. Stopped to chat to herd of young heifers on way to beach. They were very pleased to see me, lots of sniffing of my hands and face. I even got a couple of licks :) On the way back they saw me coming and came galloping across field to see me again, bucking and and kicking up their heels and jostling each other.:) They followed me as I was walking until they ran out of field. I love cows, maybe they sense that.
