Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

ITs MONDAY. Back to work, and away from my house, and garden. Someone said here, can't replace time, when discussing my upcoming retirement, so right. Hopefully this August it will be the month.

 

Well you were rich living in a cave Shiney

 

There were 53 of us livin in a shoe box in middle of t' road.

 

Is that when you had to walk 10 miles just to get to school, and you had no shoes, and you had to feed the animals before school, and do a 25 hour shift down t'pit afterwards?

 

Are they Strongy's relatives?

 

Luxury.....

 

Supposed to be gardening but went for walk on beach instead. Very cold, grey, light rain drifting across sea and land. Waves very loud. Saw a Heron, Little Plovers, Oyster Catchers and a few Gulls. No humans on beach. Stopped for chat with the cows on way home.

 

More Vulcan than Klingon I believe. How about you?

We should never have binned it. Modernise it perhaps, but bin it, no.

I saw a documentary that said we don't need it anymore because now we can just use ballistic missiles if a hostile superpower attacks. How dumb is that. With many eastern nations actively pursuing cyber warfare technology, I think it's daft to rely on computers to fight for us. Just maybe, we should retain the ability for someone to actually deliver a retaliation in person.
