Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

@Logan my periodontist has that scaling pic and they now have a new sucking device. It is shaped like a little saucer and sts against one cheek. Your head is leaning to the sucker side and it is super efficient. Really changed it for me as with the old bent tube it would slide out of place and I would need to swallow or drown.

I just finished addressing all of my Christmas card envelopes. And have stamped them too with the exceptikn of a few international ones. Listened/watched "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" whilst doing this little job.

And I have to go the the pharmacy to pick up my Prolia shot for Monday's injection. I get that one in my belly. Saves having a sore arm

 

@CanadianLori never heard of that sucking device, they stopped using the sucking tube because of this pandemic.

They're very good at having everything in place, the hand gels the temperature taking with one of those gun devices and social distancing, wiping of door handles and going in and out don't have to touch the handles they do it for you. They wear the masks and vizers and it's just great, just have to keep using the hand gels and wear the mask in and out of the practice.

Perhaps the tubing is too long, have you got to have that in all the time ?

 

Cooked a lot of onions for the Christmas stuffing, always make a lot for the rest of the year, let it cool then put in freezer.

Logan. Tube correct length etc. District nurse had been booked for Monday, to trmovr catheter erc. Consultant rang, doing a phone consultation. She said to contact GP, cancel District nurse. She will make appointment for me to visit Guys Hosp Friday 11th for removal etc. Also to request GP to prescribe more drainage bags.
Now the pantomime begins. Amanda phones the surgery. Time passed. Eventually speaks to an assistant. Provides all info and codes for the bags. Then contacts the pharmacy that is joined to the surgery. Advised items will have to be specially ordered, and script must be sent soon, as order must be sent by 1700hrs. Time now about 1630. Amanda rings surgery again. Long wait. Different woman answeres. Sorry, but whoever you spoke to hasn't logged any info. Eventually. Info sent to doctor. He will have to sign the script. Sorry can't say when. No doctors are in the surgery. 1730 Home phone rings. Surgery. Your script has been snt to the phatmacy.

I am begining to see the GP surgery of the future. Please leave your name and number. Hopefully a doctor will contact you before you pop your clogs.

Then this evening. Phoned my friend. He informs me that he has been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. He goes into hospital tomorrow (Sunday) Operation Monday.

Isn't life wonderful.

 

Oh i see, it's terrible how things are going. My friend Keith who passed away a month ago from a heart attack, but he had a catheter in and tubes having ms and in a wheelchair so i do know a bit about it.
Hope everything goes well and sorry about your friend.

 

Hubby likes to watch these videos, because i don't drive I'm amazed at what people get up to on the roads.

 

I used to drive an East Kent bus many years ago, nothing would surprise me how others drive.

You are expected to stop dead with 70 plus passengers onboard, plus the idiot that overtakes you and then turns left a few yards ahead.

I'm glad now I don't drive anymore.
