Thank you for the :ideaIPB::ideaIPB::ideaIPB:. I have never made mince but have lots of experience canning and after having to pay £8 for about 12 oz of the stuff today, I shall ma,e a point of doing my own in the new year for next Christmas!

We visited a few times when we lived in South Wales, but not in the height of tourist season. Oxwich Bag, Port Eynon and Worms Head were favourite places too, but the place I miss the most is Marcross ( not mid Wales, Bridgend ). Property prices have gone through the roof here on Anglesey too. Even do up jobs are crazy prices :hate-shocked:.

Driving around in my new car :wub2::dancy::yahoo:. She's new second hand not brand new, 6 years old with low mileage and very good condition. She's all shiny and clean and smells good and everything works and so light and smooth to drive. The Colt embarrassed me once to often in a busy car park, so it had to go.

I'll be working from Home from now until the middle of January so, today, I drove to St Anne's Church in Baslow to place Wreaths on my Father's and Brother's resting places on the river bank. You can drive into the Church grounds and I was able to get out of the car by the river bank, get down the slippery slope without ending on my rear and place the Wreaths, and then get back into the car and out of the Church grounds without even seeing a Soul. The drive back Home was even easier than going to Baslow as the clouds were forming up and the Sun, which would have been in my eyes, was covered, and then it was a Mug of Tea.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Sadly. I have been dozing all day in the armchair. To be honest, I felt I couldn't give a fig. Despite it seemed to be a nice bright spring like day, birds singing etc. Let me go to sleep. Attempting to tidy up my desk. I picked up the information sheet given to me at the time of my Covid jab.. Some possible side effects.

Some pain/soreness at injection site. Perhaps some swelling and slight discoloration of the area. Tiredness, drowsiness. Perhaps some feeling of nausea.

So my friends, who have sought my experience etc from the jab. NO. In my case the actual jab was basically not felt. Immediate after affects, in my case. NIL. Now today, could this be some aftermath? Honestly. I don't know. Best wishes to all.

Did some shopping. Drove Sam to the nursing station for a bandage change. Had a long chat with the pharmacist to find a solution for a nasty side effect of one of Sam's antibiotics. Brought the two (dead or alive?) Hibiscus indoors from the greenhouse. Made some more royal icing for cookie decorating. Did some shopping.

Then downloaded driving instructions for tomorrow's little trip. I'm taking Sam alpacawalking. She is going to bed early tonight because she is so excited :hapfeet:about going and wants to get her energy up. Borrowed a heated jacket and winter boots for her to wear. We'll be outside with the alpacas only about 1/2 an hour which is about as long as she will be able to handle and I'm not taking any chances on her getting a chill.

And now sitting with a spritzer... oh, and made an appointment with my new wine guy for next week. :)

I'm not sure it can read the safety sign behind it.

I was thinking that myself, loli, as I negotiated the slope which was wet and leaf covered:dunno::heehee:
Their memorials are right at the bottom next to the river, which was in full flood, and getting back up the slope can be just as bad and one slip can put you in the water. The Cafe/Restaurant, (Charlies), opposite the Lych Gate and the Pubs were open but I didn't stop and headed for Home.
