Got the sausage casserole in the oven, emptied all the bins , fed the birds and hung the washing out. This afternoon might wash my hair or do that tomorrow.

I'm wearing mine for 'me' too, although I'm fully aware of what they say about it not being for the wearers protection.I am fed up to the back teeth of having people lean pass me to grab something off the shelf when shopping.....wearing not only a baggy mask but with their nose hanging out!!

My daughter loves a sausage casserole never tried one but do love casseroles and a favorite is left over lamb sliced, mix with tin of toms gravy as well onions carrots cook for an hour or what suits you. hen add sliced potatoes on top previously boiled lightly and add to the casserole for another 30 or so mins. The birds are very busy at the mo, you could put food out every half hour and they still would eat it all up...We love the birds around us like most peeps do, we use to go for days out in Bexhill with a scope with a portable stand and a picnic of course...still could.

Casseroles are nice, my mom used to do stews with dumplings and just plain mashed potato couldn't beat it.

Hubby goes out at 7am to do the shopping at Sainsbury's and Morrisons, there's not a lot of people around at that time but Tesco's have the dot.com shoppers going around, the trollies are a lot bigger than the others and a lot more at this time. Sainsbury's and Morrisons do theirs at a different place. He doesn't like going to Tesco but the bread is what we want.

@DianneW dumplings are out if you're reducing calories.:nonofinger:

You can make them a bit better if you use a wholemeal flour but I don't think that they'll be the same.

You will have to exercise a lot to do it.You've got to think to yourself is it worth it?
