Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

Have seen a few people on the TV talking about their changes to their health when swimming in the cold water on a daily basis, the benefits sound very good..You can start off with a wet suit so its not so shiver me timbers as you might think. Just realise that you should not do this alone and stay by the shoreline, them waves can be the unknown.....Is there Anyone that would be up for trying that? I would now, if I lived by the sea..not at all keen on river swimming...River Monsters comes to mind...

 

I can't really swim. A friend and I did have lessons a few years ago and in fact I did progress from learner pool to the main one and then from shallow end to the deep end....but just couldn't summon up the courage to let go of the sides!!! I just need to feel something under my feet!!!

 

I can swim a bit but don't fancy cold water. When I was in secondary school the large pool was being referbished so we had to go to another one but it was out in the open and cold, never again.

 

As usual took berry and barley for their walks and just washed my hair.

 

Don't need to do that just run up and down the stairs a few times, i do that.

Just love the social side of it all, love to meet up with friends and others and have a giggle while kidding myself I'm getting fit!

 

......we then went for coffee and cake afterwards...sssh!!!

Hard to have at times for sure , impossible not to have pets..

 

Yes would never be without them, even though they're worrying at times.

Couldn't afford them now, now that hubby is retired and like to spend more time on the garden.

 

@Upsydaisy I believe you shouldn't have friends and others visiting your house under the lockdown, not even for a bit of running up and down your stairs.

 

Not sure if this belongs in the 'New Purchases' thread :-) I went to fetch my new chickens this afternoon. Five lovely black Limousines. Hopefully they'll gang up on the existing five so they don't get bullied! :-)

 

I gather that was a joke @Selleri ...never ever broken the guideline rules.
