Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

Good heavens @Logan , I haven't even started my presents Excel file yet and have just about to finish the first three hundred Christmas cards! Only 315 days left!

Kidding, that looks wonderful and I bet the scent and the feeling of having it going feel great.

Hubby just got his appointment for the vaccine next Tuesday, I've still got to wait for mine.

 

Thank you @Selleri I like to get the cake done early so that I can put the sherry/fortified wine in it and i haven't got a lot to do at this time of the year.

 

Might wash my hair this afternoon, can't do anything in the garden the ground is still frozen.

 

Earlier this morning had a hedgehog come to feed it was good that I put some food and water out. Thought that the water would be frozen but it wasn't.

 

Fingers hovering over Amazon order. I sometimes think if they look at orders and wonder what an earth is going on in that household?

My latest order was 5l vinegar, 6 used golf balls and growlights. Now I need a very large tub of PVC glue and some more Villeroy&Boch bowls and Degu food. Honestly, Amazon, it's all for the greater good.

On a Sunday i like to make a pudding that includes blancmange. In the last year the supermarkets don't seem to stock it a lot anymore. Had to buy it from Amazon but some of the flavours are more expensive than others.

Went to work this morning (we finish at midday on Friday), after work I went to moms (she is in my bubble) to put up 2 TV stands and fit the TV’s. Whilst there we were looking through a box for some washers and I found 2 electronic timer plugs. Mom said she does like them and I could have them. Bonus! I need one for another grow light set up I want to setup. After that I went to pick up some 12L pots someone on FB was selling (15 for £10). When I got there, the seller said I have 35 and a large Garland unheated propagator and I could have the lot for £20. I now have 35 pots and a propagator. I then went to pick up 2 solid oak chairs that were for sale on FB for £5. I want to turn them into something new. They are solid oak and I struggled to carry them both. Got back home and everyone was out, so I watched a couple of gardening vlogs on YouTube. Now just waiting for wife to get back with a chippy tea. Not a bad day really

Feeling a tad down today as it's 42 weeks ( yes the weeks are embedded into me as he was such a huge part of my life) since my Dad passed away and late last night his remaining brother passed away too., he was 93 and we've been expecting it since Christmas. He was an adorable man ,and my Godfather and to be honest ...my favourite Uncle.
