Thanks @luciusmaximus , yes I did cycle quite a bit in days gone by but now I use my static exercise bike daily. I've had arthritis for 44yrs now and have had countless physio sessions and using all the exercises have ,until now, kept my joints ticking over well.:dbgrtmb:
I also did Aqua Aerobics too at the local leisure centre, a friend and I hope to do so again once the pools are back up and running.

@Upsydaisy thanks for letting me know lots of hugs and hope that the injections will help and the exercise will help.

Yesterday morning I was taking barley for his walk and he suddenly picked something up and started to eat it. It sounded like a small piece of bone it was so hard for him to eat it. Couldn't get it off him now today he's got the runs and he's been sick, no more food for him today, he'll have to have dry toast instead.

It is one of those rare days for me ... I could not get stuck into anything. However, I talked T'other Half into digging the Backgammon Board out. Hopefully I will find my mojo tomorrow. :fingers crossed:

My hubs and his friends were always playing Backgammon, we did find out recently that our neighbour likes to play too ,they keep promising to get their board out and set up a game. Don't know what happened to ours, probably up in the loft somewhere.

Another painful night that wouldn't allow me to sleep at all. Just can't straighten my leg out to allow me to lie down and sleep and the pain is so bad that it's not fair on my poor hubs. Ended up getting up and doing online flower jigsaw puzzles..much better than trying to sleep.
I will probably start to flag and be irritable during the day now....poor hubs can't win!!!:heehee:

                Today’s freebies.

The wheelbarrow was outside someone’s house for scrap, I had driven past about 3 times this week, so I knocked the door. The plastic is broken, but I only want the wheel as mine is broken. The bucket and pots were in a skip. There were about 30 buckets, but they had been sawn off the plant and no good. Also picked up a tile cutter that someone was gifting on FB. Got to finish tiling utility floor and the bearing have gone on my cutter and it won’t cut straight. I was going to buy one to get the job finished, so was a real bonus.

@Upsydaisy that's a shame about your knee, you were doing so well.
Have you tried Turmeric tablets?, they supposed to be good for Arthritis.

Nothing much today, just washed my hair and the rest of the things that's done every day.

Yes tried everything going over the years @Logan , not much helps sadly, hopefully I'll get to have the steroid jab next Friday.

I have been doing more this week ,walks and all day gardening as I'm desperate to get back to keeping busy, not good at sitting around during the day. That's what is causing the discomfort, but I will keep persevering.:dbgrtmb:

It's hubs New Year today so we've spent most of the morning phoning and video calling family here and over in his homeland.
Just had a very yummy and traditional dinner , now I'm off out into the greenhouse for the afternoon ...if I don't go outside I'm sure I'll now fall asleep as my sleepless night is creeping up on me now.:snooze::snooze:

Yes I have, all can be put to good use. Pity about the sawn up buckets in the skip though. More plastic to landfill :wallbanging:
