No gardening today. had 5th migraine in 4 days. been looking after Dotty as she is poorly again. she is having a very bad IBD flare up. she was so poorly on Friday night that we thought we were going to lose her. Saturday morning trip to vets and she had a steroid injection, antibiotics and antisickness injection and antacid tablets. she is on full rest and has been snuggled up to me in bed all day.

id intended on watering in the vine weevil killer to my pots but got as far as picking up the watering can!

just nipped outside now and watered in the greenhouse. it's a lovely calm evening outside.

Hoping head feels better for Line of Duty final series starting tonight at 9pm.

            My day besides gardening?

Work, sleep, work, sleep, work, sleep, work,.....

But it keeps the lights on and the fridge full, so I shouldn't complain.

Just cut up a pineapple and gave seed to the birds. At 10am feed the boys then time for the next walks.

Purchased a Wagner W100 sprayer today, primarily for the sheds/fences - but I reckon it's going to be useful for sprucing up the internal walls/doors as well.

I had to laugh - some sage advice from Cuprinol regarding their own brand powered sprayer -

Do not look down the nozzle whilst the Fence & Decking Power Sprayer is switched on.

                  I can't think why

We had lunch outdoors and sat out again later. Andy came by to take details for painting outside of house and making tiled path from kitchen patio down garden where gravel is below. Can't start for 3/4 weeks.

A tiring day. Had an appointment with an Ortho Physio Consultant at hospital (1-1/2 hours round trip). Very thorough going over ops and issues. Performed various strength tests and was pleasantly surprised especially for my age! Set up programme M-W-F for four weeks (12 sessions) starting in about two weeks (after Easter). To continue current exercise routine in the meantime.

Came home and had lunch (sausage rolls, tea and Jaffa cake). Now relaxing and T'other Half napping. It was a nice drive out as weather brilliant.

I would like this but not sure T'other Half will agree. Will have to see/touch in person.

Thats sounds very good Vicky, 12 sessions too!!! You certainly have good medical care over there . Is that with their ' NHS' ( their version) or as a private patient?
