This is private. When I had Physio with the SNS/NHS when hip first done it was three sessions a week for six weeks! Either way, medical coverage is excellent here.

:fingers crossed: Fingers crossed also ( ok I have all of them crossed!) that Mr Grumpy Dr has woken up in a good mood + the fact that it's almost the weekend too.....could it be my lucky day :fingers crossed::fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

Well I'm finally all jabbed up, had a local anaesthetic first before the steroid one. Popped into town afterwards ( while under the anaesthetic) and did the grocery shop and also picked up a few other bits and bobs from other shops too, so all in all I managed a fair amount of walking!!

I saw on the news that they were doing the qualifying runs for the Olympics at Kew.....I'm on a mission now!!!
              Just doing my warm ups!

When the first lockdown happened I said that I would take the opportunity to sort out my office and the 60 box files that had accumulated. I never got around to it until today :rolleyespink:

I'd first promised myself to keep the files sorted, up to date and throw out anything that no longer was of use. When I first promised myself that it was 1976 :yikes:

I'd never done any of it even before lockdown. I have cleared one shelf which included documents from charitable companies that I'd set up (all closed or merged with others over 20 years ago), A lot of documents about probate for my parents and sale of their house (20 years ago), my old school reports (more years ago than I'm willing to admit and most of them saying "could do better" :heehee:), stacks of files of the consumer court cases I fought for people and some of the info for our holidays going back 40 years. I've filled seven recycle bags and stopping for now.

Maybe I'll carry on doing it in 40 year's time :roflol:

I've cleared a 10ft length of one shelf and it won't take long for Mrs Shiney to fill it. For the last few years she has gradually been selling off a lot of our books and the ones that are on her selling list are stacked on the floor. So she's started to put them on the shelf. She'll soon be telling me to clear another 10ft section. :phew:

Before heading into the greenhouse and getting totally absorbed decided to visit my brother this morning to see how he was. I like to do a check just to make sure that he's up to date with his meds and his fortnightly jab ( that he has to give himself) and that he has a good stock of food in too.

Then we popped by my sister's as she has a few issues with her garage ,it's in need of some serious maintenance work . She's had a couple of quotes but just needed hubs opinions too. :dbgrtmb:

Sat outside for a few hours playing Backgammon, but when the sun went in and the wind gusted it was too chilly so we have come indoors as it is quite cloudy now.

Not much today, always is because it's Sunday. Sunday's we phone our son since this last year and he's hoping to have the jab soon to get back to a bit normal.

Some housework this morning , then had our daily morning video chat with my elder sister ( for over an hour). Hubs says he's amazed at what we find to chat about every morning seeing as neither of us is doing much really.:heehee:

Then my Aunt phoned to see how things are and that phone call lasted over an hour and a half, spoke with my Uncle too.

Hubs had cooked dinner by the time I finally put the phone down!!

Then the afternoon was spent in the garden for a while and then in the greenhouse. I will close the cold frames and greenhouse at 7pm...:yes:The extra hour is great isn't it!!
                          :gardening:

I seem to be doing things in wrong order.

On Friday night I scrubbed the kitchen as usual, that's the Monkey Rage Cleaning that happens when I'm just too tired after a week's work and need to blitz things with a little help of Cif and pinot grigio.

First thing on Saturday morning I decided to proceed with my project of turning stupid plastic pots into something stylish, Skandi- like shabby chick that will enhance the carefully planned decor of our house. :th scifD36: Plenty of garden string and glue water were involved, and the kitchen required urgent scrubbing before the plentiful splashes dried.
                            ruukut.jpg

Today, after scrubbing the kitchen to be Skype- worthy for a call with Family Selleri (we drew even on our weekly hula hoop competition with my niece, 5, and agreed to also compete on nail art next week :yikes: ) I realised that Cosmos and some indoors lettuce and Dill must be sown today.

Since outdoors is resembling a typhoon at the moment, the seed sowing happened on the freshly scrubbed kitchen table that required immediate re-scrubbing afterwards, combined with floor re-scrubbing. :wallbanging: :heehee:
