Your Day (apart from gardening) - what took place?

I have been enquiring about allotment plots today. I am on the list for 2 and awaiting a reply on the 3rd that is local to me. I am 10th on the list at one, which has an average turn over of 2 plots a year and 40th on the list for the other . Speaking to a couple of plot holders one was 8th on the list when she applied and she had to wait 5 years. Might get allocated one by the time I retire.

It seems that Europe also has no sense of humour - this gave me a good chuckle:

French Deliveroo customers who received fake bills for hundreds of euros' worth of pizza have failed to see the funny side of the April Fools' joke.

 

Last allotment came back to me today and told me that there was a 4 year waiting list. I’m now on 3 waiting lists, but not expecting to be allocated one for a few years .

...I've finally managed it!!!

Went for a fairly long walk ( well ,the longest I've done for a few months now) this morning. Walked over to my sister's and sat in her ( chilly) garden enjoying coffee and Hot Cross Buns.
Stayed an hour and then walked back.

Slight twinge now but I'm so over the moon with happiness!!

Yes I've seen that before @Logan, the images look completely different don't they...amazing!!! But also weirdly spookily unnerving too.

 

Yes they do @Upsydaisy I've only just had them come up with the recommendations, but it does look a bit spooky.
