That's terrible I hope he's better now. Mine isn't that bad so it must be my ordinary headache.

As it was wet and windy today and suppose to be really nice here after Tuesday ,I decided to spend most of the day doing all housework chores to get them out of the way and leave me free to be out in the garden this week ..temps are due to reach 20C....so they say!!:hapydancsmil:

Enjoyed a really nice walk, despite the dismal weather, this afternoon. Wish I had taken some pics as the scenery was beautiful. It was the longest walk that I have managed to do ( all in one go) for quite a long time now due to my dodgy leg/ knee, 2.5 miles, not far in normal circumstances but I was very pleased with myself nevertheless. I struggled a tad right at the end and it did become painful.....but I did it. !!!

Well done, Upsy! Especially having the motivation to do it in such abominable weather! I'm 42 and already realising the importance of "if you don't use it, you lose it" when it comes to fitness. :)

Thanks Nick :), yes most definitely!!! I've had it drummed into me all my life...'if you don't use it , you lose it' and ....' If you ease, you cease '.

Arthritis runs in our family sadly. My brother's very active lifestyle came to an end when he was suddenly diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis at the very young age of 18. He had to get rid of his beloved motorbike, stop competitive swimming, pack up teaching judo, stop skiing and cycling. He is now very disabled with it and had to retire from working in his late 30's. I was diagnosed at the age 24 with Osteoarthritis in my hips and later in my knees and right hand I also have osteoporosis in my lower spine too. Not a patch on my brother's condition and thankfully :fingers crossed: keeping on the go keeps it, somewhat, at bay .
My sister has had to have double knee replacements 2 years ago. I am determined to do all I can to steer away from replacements ...so far just had to have bone fusions in my feet, and I only agreed to that because I wanted to be able to keep walking.

We went for a nice drive in the hinterlands behind us ... then T'other Half clipped my car backing in with his. He was VERY angry with himself as there is a good ding on the driver's front fender.

                        Looks so beautiful Vicky !!:)

I can feel the heat radiating out from your pics.

I think I must be going down with something as I am feeling chilled to my bones this evening and am huddled up in a blanket with a hotwater bottle.

You take care ... it is probably being chilled from being out in that dampness. Don't make yourself ill over your garden ... it will still be there for you to love.
