Apparently they have had a run on this new model - it's being made now and by the time it gets to the UK it will be August - which doesn't bother us as the old car is not due its mot until next March - so we can still tootle around.

I was going to scrap the old car - but the bloke offered us £100 in part ex (I did smile). Plan was originally to scrap it - but now we drive to the shop - drop off the old car and pick up the new. So worked out quite well really.

Had my brother over so he could sit out in the sunshine ( he only has a teeny tiny patio area, which is all he needs really) , friend also called by during the same time for a catch up , he brought his cheeky little Jack Russell with him which made my brother's day !!!
It made a very enjoyable break for a couple of hours from planting out in the garden.

I saw my cat Bella staring in between the fridge and washing machine so I moved the fridge out and saw there must have been a mouse there. I think it had been there for a while because there were lots of droppings  so I had to move everything out and clean behind them.
She sometimes brings field mice into the house and lets them go in the living room, but this one was in the kitchen and I didn't know she'd brought it in.
It must have gone back out on its own because I never found it.

When my back and knees started complaining I left the things (fridge washing machine etc ) in the middle of the floor and decided to push them back into place tomorrow (today now lol)

Haven't decided what to do today, but got to clean the kitchen window a bird pooped on it last night so got to do it I suppose. Got to pull some rhubarb it's very late this year. So apart from that don't know.

No I'm just waiting for the wallflowers to finish, they're so late this year. I would leave them in but some don't last through the year and I've got the pot marigolds to plant in their place, also still got to plant the cosmos, verbena bonerenses, verbascum and Snapdragons. I've got about 12 lupins that I've got to find somewhere to plant.
One of the lupins that are in the ground and very big has those lupin aphids but i won't spray it. I heard somewhere that if they fall off the plant that they can't get up again.

With having to find time to walk the boys and cook I don't find a lot of time to garden and that I have to be careful with my lower back if I over do the bending as you know Upsy.

Ah OK. Thats the problem with Lupins. I only have 3 clumps now , the massive one I have reduced by about half this year, absolutely hate the way they look when infested with lupin aphids..ghastly critters. We only get them during the 2nd blooming thankfully ,I have tried all means of eradicating them....even hand picking them off.....but they always come back....even the Ladybirds won't touch them!!

Yes backs are a problem aren't they. My poor old back is definitely being put through it's paces at the moment, as you may recall I suffer from Osteoporosis in my lower spine, so now with my dodgy leg/ knee kneeling for any length of time is not possible....so my back is definitely feeling it at the moment. I keep telling myself that once all this years plants are in I'll be able to sit back and enjoy.......that's the plan!;)

Ps, It might sound that I'm lazy and spoilt by my hubs but I do cook too and he definitely isn't into housework and laundry.:roflol:

My brother ( and I don't begrudge it) takes up most of my time now. Bless him.

Chilling for 10 mins from planting out the Zinnias. While the kettle boiled I sorted out dinner ,which is ready to pop in the oven at 12. Salad is all done too.

Upsydaisy I think that you'll always try to find something to do or someone to look after because you like to keep busy.

My friend Marion she's always doing things for other people because that's what she's like.
