I watch some of these videos and it's so sad and what will happen to the puppies and the mother when they go back to the owner.

After doing some 'light' gardening chores this morning I decided to attempt going into town this afternoon...the last time I went in was almost 4weeks ago!!:yikes:

We have a lot of birthdays ( including my Uncle's 90th) and an anniversary coming up in July and I like to choose the cards!!;) :heehee:.

I even managed to accompany hubs around the supermarket too , using the trolley as a makeshift Zimmer frame..but nevertheless I did it!!!:hapydancsmil:. I'm so chuffed as although I detest shopping I hated leaving hubs to do it all on his own.:)

I will probably pay for it this evening, but I had to try so all in all a very positive day. :dbgrtmb:

Portugueae don't "do" cards so there are no card shops. You visit and take a gift, chocolates, flowers, whatever, or go out for a lunch or dinner. Always a lengthy phone call.

Next Monday hubby has a hernia opp. Yesterday he received a phone call for the assessment. Friday he's got to go and have a Covid test and self isolate until Monday. But why we've had our 2 jabs in arms :heehee:and we don't see anyone. I thought after the 2 jabs in arms :heehee:it would be alright.

To be on the safe side of course !! Plus they haven't got the staff or the time to check out each individual's vaccination status. They also wouldn't know that you don't socialise either.
A inconvenience maybe...but only a tiny one to maintain everyones safety. There are also a handful of people in hospital now who have had 2 jabs with this new variant too. :dbgrtmb:

                  Hope all goes well.:)

Thank You @Upsydaisy on both accounts.
Just got to make sure that he doesn't do anything afterwards. He can't drive for 10 days and 4 weeks he can't lift anything and I've got to do all the dog walking.

Yes I know my nephew had the same op just before Christmas and my Dad did about 10 years ago.
It's a shame you can't manage the dogs walking together really, but at least it's not winter.

You'll be busy so the 4weeks should whizz by.

Thank you @Upsydaisy yes it's a common type of surgery for men, hubby's dad had one. Forgot to mention he's going private because the NHS wouldn't do it unless he was very ill. He was assessed over the phone asking a lot of questions.
He won't be able to walk the boys because if they might pull him and it's best for him to stay at home. Well at least I'll get a lot of excerise:) don't know if I'll have a lot of time to post on this forum.
